Apologies for title.

Write lists, chat about stuff, motivate, celebrate and commiserate.

Any list format is acceptable.

Including 'coffee and MN' on to do list is encouraged.

Hello new thread

Today i have been a good mummy and taken DD to toddler group, then bought a new dustpan and brush, bright pink washing basket and a silicon loaf tin - what an exciting life i lead....

DD is obviously a little under the weather, she fell asleep on me while i was snoozing resting my eyes and is completely sparked out on the sofa now. Means having to do the horses when she wakes up, hopefully with help from DH when he gets back from his course. I have really hurt my back and don't really want to be pushing four barrowfuls of muck about.

Think i will have a coffee and the last rock bun instead.....

Alicetheinvisible · 24/02/2010 15:26

Rock bun has gone stale, fat pigeon can have it instead. Thank god for chocolate bourbons

PlumBumMum · 24/02/2010 15:40

mollyroger · 24/02/2010 15:58

hello lovely people.
I came on your thread once to help motivate me, so i am hoping you will let me slip back in for more motivational stuff. I work part time and have 2 kids, and a useless-at-domesticity DH so all achievements need to be between 4pm and around 8pm before wine o clock.

Hello everyone and welcome back mollyroger.

JKS, the window is a mess flaking paintwork etc. and I tried it with a sharp knife, but I'm worried about cracking the glass.
There's a small crack in one of the panes where it looks like someone's tried to open it before.
Landlord said he was planning to replace the front windows in the Spring, so I don't think it's worth me getting a man in. Will get DH to chase him up on it soon.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 24/02/2010 19:41

Hello mollyroger Yes to the chargers, plugs, gadgets etc etc. We have a drawer under the spare bed where all items like that live, so far it is working!

JKS Can't imagine how hard it must be. That playgroup tomorrow sounds interesting, I guess you just have to keep trying things until something clicks with him and then it will help him progress?

I'm going to have hot chocolate instead! Have made myself a rule that I can only have alcohol when I've had at least 8 other drinks during the day and funnily on the rare days I actually manage that I don't seem to fancy the wine

There are bricks all over sitting room floor, am ignoring them!
