Flamingo - lol re the hairbrush, i'm exactly the same! tend to leave one upstairs and one downstairs to help!

DS2 was fine until last April when he started having epileptic fits. Then he started Infantile Spasms (a form of epilepsy) which caused developmental regression, then he had brain surgery in Dec to take out his temporal lobe to stop the seizures. So far it seems to have worked, yey. But now he is way behind and has so much work to do to catch up - mostly working about a 6-9month old and he's just turned 2. But he's so happy now so we are happy - if greedy and wanting him to hurry up and catch up!

JustKeepSwimming · 04/02/2010 21:22

Wasting - i've missed the beginning of Lost somehow, oops. And we missed the first 2 episodes of 24 - though i read out the recaps form Wiki to Dh before we started - significantly quicker than watching it

Oh and I always forget the boys teeth!!

FreakoidOrganisoid · 04/02/2010 21:41

Oh gosh Plum how scary, glad he is ok.

Just watched the first 2 episodes online , really bad quality and v pixilated but I got the gist. The rest don't seem to be up yet but will keep searching.

Have friends coming tomorrow for weekend - 6 of them . 4 coming tomorrow the other 2 on sat am. Lucky no-one minds camping out on airbeds etc. Bed plan is
fri - friends dd in with dc on airbed, her mum in with me, 2x friends on airbed in lounge
sat - friends dd and her mum in airbed in dc room, dd in her ready bed, me in dd's bed, friend and husband in my bed (being an old married couple gives them bed privileges!),2 x friends on airbed in lounge.

Just like being students again Lucky neither of our dd's will be too affected by random bed arrangements and I have to cuddle ds to sleep anyway so as long as he can get to me when he wakes he'll be fine.

Tomorrows list

All up, dressed, breakfasted -
Washing up -
Wipe kitchen sides and dining table ?
Wipe out fridge -
Strip my bed -
Load of washing in ?

Load of washing hung up ?

Is it February? Only mmm last week it was I think January. Hang on where is my calandar. I did change it over and I haven't got used to the pictures yet on the new one. Perhaps I should find a biro and mark some birthdays on it. Maybe I will do my shopping list at the same time. Now I need some more paper. But I haven't got any. Maybe I should include it in my shopping- but then again do I need any Birthday cards. Aah, a biro.

Oh, I haven't done anything since I last posted.

I've been cuddling DS though.

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 05/02/2010 12:49

Hello

Ali - yes, the older two can do it all themselves, and DD3 can do bits but needs help - she chooses her stuff though and brings it to me. But they all need chivvying. I'd let them stay in the pyjamas as we're pretty relaxed in our house - consensual living etc. - but if people stay in their pyjamas in our house, something happens to the general atmosphere, it all kind of gets very sluggish, so getting dressed is one of the very, very few things I insist on.

Eat breakfast DONE
Get all girls dressed DONE-ish - DD2 still in her nightie. Still, 75% dressed! DONE
Get all girls breakfasted DONE
