Right I am just out of shower and have renewed my motivation to shift some weight, I am actually fed up with my spare tyre,
my legs are skinny and my chest has always been big so I really need to shift it
It gets me down and I don't buy any new clothes because I just think nothing suits my tummy,
and I wear too much black!!

Ok rant over

Oh and MIL & SIL have bets on me getting pg this year so knowing my purchases yesterday would ruin their delusion,
I want a lovely beach holiday first think we will leave TTC until next year!!

have showered all dcs
and put a wash on
emptied dishy

need to
make lunch
clear up after lunch
decide whats for dinner
Iron yesterdays washing & put away

IF nothing else today SORT ALL SMALLS & put away
clean & light fire there was snow on the ground this morning!!

JustKeepSwimming · 21/02/2010 13:08

Plum - i was planning to TTC from this Jan, but being on ADs still has meant i should wait (though i'm hoping to come off them next month). Hoping to try from April onwards, maybe.
We had a sprinkling of snow here too.

JKS we were planning that too but when I pg with dd2 it was the most stressful year of our lives, so we didn't get to sit back and enjoy iyswim so think we are both putting it off until we both feel we can relax and enjoy and also this will most likely be the last so feel like I can wait awhile

JustKeepSwimming · 21/02/2010 15:08

Plum - do you ever worry about the gaps between DC? if they will be too big? (i can't remember what gaps you have already, but i only had 20months between the boys) I don't want too huge a gap, but also think i could have a 3yr instead of 2yr gap, and maybe have no 4 (and final!) coon after that.
Would make me 36 & 38ish for 3 & 4.

PlumBumMum · 21/02/2010 16:03

Yeap ideally I would like to be having no4 soon so there isn't a big gap between dd2,

the only thing that really bothers me about the gaps is the constant school runs

my 3 have played together brilliantly today, some days they will fight but mostly they get on really well

IMO I like abit of a gap as I feel like it has give me a chance with each of them when they are little as that is when the biggest changes happen

dd1 was 2.5 when ds was born

then dd1 was 5.8 and ds was 3.3 when dd2 was born, and tbh I felt so guilty as I felt I was making them seem older as I had this new wee baby and they seemed so big when in fact they are still babies iyswim

Although it seems strange when dd1 starts P7 (final year in primary school) dd1 will only be staring P1

JustKeepSwimming · 21/02/2010 16:18

Yeah 20mo wasn't great as DS1 was still so young, when i see 20mo old babies now I realise he was just a baby himself.
But it worked out ok. THink it will be about 3yrs+ between DS2 and DC3.
But other mums with 3+ DC do say the taxi runs drive them mad too. Guess it's a phase just like any other...

Ooh, missed TTC chat! My ovaries are shouting very loudly at me atm.
Want to wait til around May when thinking with my head though.

DS knocked my coffee over last night, so the sofa cover is being washed again.
This afternoon he twatted DN on the top of his head with a plastic tractor, completely out of the blue. He was definitely more upset about it than DN after the initial pain wore off bless him. We were disapproving, then I cuddled DN til SIL came back in the room and gave DS a minute to see how upset we all were before I cuddled him too. It's sooo difficult. I felt awful all afternoon after that.

Other than that, we've had a great couple of days.

Just got to finish up the pots for tonight.

Tomorrow:-

  • all up, dressed, teethbrushed
  • beds made, windows and curtains open
  • condensation patrol
  • spatone + OJ + vitamins

Wasting you are like superwoman this week! So many things done!

Bronze - grr at the nits

HMHB - glad today was succesful!

JKS - it's hard not to overthink the whole TTC thing. We were planning to start trying when we get back from our holiday next month, but my GP wants me to come off my ADs slowly over the next 2/3 months so we are looking at starting TTC in May now. I have always thought I wanted 3 DC but not so sure now - I think it will depend on whether we can afford to move house in 2/3 years time - definitely not room for 3DCs here!

TODAY
All up and dressed - done
Unload dishwasher - done
Breakfast and tidy kitchen - done
Handwashing - done
Dry nappies - done
Wash our bedding - done
Clean sheets onto our bed - done
Sort Ocado order for Monday - done

Quick dust and hoover downstairs - done
My parents arriving - done
Cook roast for 5 - done

Parents going home - done
Me and DH supper - doing
