Here it is a new thread for June, and to motivate us for the Summer

I am doing a bedroom clear out thread if anyone would like to join me

Morning everyone, DD1 gone to work with DH, Bank Holiday here so hopefully he might get finished early. Got DS and DD2s rooms done yesterday as well as sorting through the mounds of clothes, beginning to see more floor upstairs . Going to tackle DD1s room this morning.

Small list to start with seeing as it is a bank holiday

N early sitting-in-sun time!

before it gets warm:
get up DONE
make coffee and encourage DP to cycle to work DONE
water chillis DONE
sort washing DONE
load 1 wash ON
load 1 hang up DONE
load 2 wash DONE
load 2 hang up DONE
shower, dress ISH
hoover DONE
washing up DONE
sort out paperwork on dining table

then:
sit in sun for a bit
finish making soup for lunch
eat lunch

later:
finish job applications
go for run?

Oh yes, happy Bank Holiday to those in Ireland !

• Dh take boys to nursery then go to work DONE

• may leave early if i get lots done as i'm up on my hours

• ironing/sort clean & dry clothes mountain
• early night

[no Epilim for DS2 - 1st day]

• rediscover favourites to save on new laptop StillDoing
• get to 8stone 7lbs (currently 8,9)
• contact handyman (sort list)
• get photos of family & hang them up
• buy some cheap photo albums
• go through all websites i've bought stuff off recently and change passwords
• research epilepsy PlentyMoreToDo
• find correct sized refills for filofax pen
• upload & order more photos of boys (DS1; 2.5-3 & DS2;1-1.5)

No bank holiday in the North

dd2 has just wandered in, she needs a babywipe to clean carpet, there is suncream over her face and arms

Can't complain shouldn't have left suncream in living room

Oh dear plum definitely check out my thread, (at least to see how unslatternly i have been ) I shouldn't worry too much though, as it only seems to happen when i'm due on, a bit like a where-flylady

Making myself post on here even though I have no idea what I need to be doing today. Can anyone give me a job to do? I don't even know where to start. The whole house is a mess so any suggestion will help DS is being whingey (he ONLY wants to play with my laptop keyboard) and is probably due a nap which is not helping.

NBM - HV is a good place to start, although they can't prescribe ADs so you will need to see your GP at some point. Hope you get sorted

We think we find out today if DH is going to be made redundant. We are sort of hoping he is because he's got a second interview for a new and better job this week which is sounding v.positive and the redundancy money would be nice! But it's a bit scary all the same.

Hello morningsun. You have a good list there and it will be sooo satisfying when you check them off. There is usually something on our lists that never gets done so don't panic!

I am supposed to be at work but am in between appointments at the moment and am trying to get a few jobs done.

See consultant done - went fine after a wee blub by me . Consultant really nice. Going for planned VBAC.

Have wached this thread for a long time, but figured now's the time to do it for real!

The first wash I put out this morning is already dry and back in the drawers . Oh I would love to be able to keep this up

Thankyou meglet I am not very organised TBH the list just motivates me or I would get stressed trying to do everything at once after letting it build up .

NBM DP is off for a while and he is doing lots so just pottering around doing the odd thing when I feel like it . How are you feeling now ?
