I'm still feeling v rough with this cold/fluy thing have to work again today though as I didn't get everything finished yesterday. Hope to get there soon and home again early. I need energy for the bonfire party in the village this evening (not sure I'll be up to it though )

hello to all! Hope your weekends are fab. I had a great time at the bonfire party. Both DC scared of fireworks and played inside and watched through the window! I drank several glasses of red wine and ate too much and had a generally great time! Came home at 9.30pm! DC got up at 9 am this morning so we got a lie in.

Been to yoga class this morning and called in for bits of food at Lidl, had a family lunch (leftover soup from yesterday). Tidied up and washed up.

We're off toy shopping now: DS's birthday money. He is VERY excited.

Spent lots on bargains at Sainsbury's yesterday on the half price toys! Going to sit tonight in front of Strictly with my Christmas present list and all the bits and pieces I have bought and allocate them and may even wrap them and label them; putting the ones needing posting in jiffy bags! How organised is that! Kick ass Wendy.

Hope you are all happy this weekend and do something fun with the family!

afternoon all

hope all are well, we've been shopping today to get ds some new shoes very nice but bloody expensive, got myself some boots too.
I've also been for a much needed pedicure ahhh bliss, first one for about 3 years but my feet were in a right old state.
going to make ds's tea shortly and then give dp a lift into the city for his night out with the boys.

Does anyone know where I can buy a swimsuit at this time of year?

OH I am cracking up.

We spent the afternoon walking and DH had his hair cut. We popped in to Morrisons for some Celebrations (£4 a tin) to pop away for christmas and bought Alvin and the chipmunks for the Wii (12.99) - well you name a song and the chipmunks do it.

Try it Video killed the Radio Star Chipmunks sylyeee. Oh my god - it is so funny

Fly wise - I have been pretty lazy, but that is allowed every now and then.
