Right - I am v unhappy

We didnt get to the wiggles we have spent the bloody day on the A1.

We klnew it was going to be closed at Junction 46 and had planned a route round from 47, but oh no, we got stuck between junctions at 44 - what the *uck.

We couldnt get off or anything. Have only just got back after a fun day on the motorway

Boys are so upset, we had tears from DS1 for 2 hours.

Also £60 down the drain - which was DS2s birthday pressie

no ruby i think that if that was my nan, i'd be glad someone was trying to keep an eye out for her

OP posts:
EustaciaVye · 29/06/2008 18:51

Ruby - nice to see some concern for little old ladies. Not enough compassion about from people imo.

TMH - That is officially a catastrophe!

Trying to tidy up downstairs now while DH runs the DDs bath. Then it wont be so bad in the morning as I have work and dont need the hassle.

Promise to dip in and share daily, weekly and zone routines with newbies though

biglips · 29/06/2008 20:15

hiya all!......

ive been lurking on here for a while and i need some adviceplease......

I need to set a routine before this baby arrive in Sept. Ive also got a 3 yrs old DD that goes to preschool 5 mornings a week. i do tidy up everyday but my house still looks a mess, its mostly clutter which im starting to get rid on freecycle and freeads...will do loot papers tmrw. Will the flylady.net help me to get into a routine?

thanks

EustaciaVye · 29/06/2008 20:25

Yes, join the other new people tomorrow and start babysteps.

Jas · 29/06/2008 20:30

biglips - Yes. If you start babysteps now and shine your sink tonight, you can get dressed in the morning, and join the other FLYbabies for day three tomorrow.
Decluttering is a big FLY thing, so she will hrelp with that, too.

TMH - I hope you get a good response from the Wiggles.

Bewildrebeast - Hi

Ruby - I agree, concern for others is a good thig, and a little gentle stalking if you see her again, would probably be a good thing.

EV We eed your FLY expertise tomorrow for all the newbies

LuckySalem - Hope you had a happy birthday

Ambi - I like your routines (probably just envious of the dots)

LML -I got a sturdy (but cheap) washing basket from Matalan, and threw away my assorted broken ones. I have to fold and put stuff away as I only have the one basket now.

I've had a good day. DP took the dds to the town show, so I did some gardening and cut the grass. Most of my jobs are done already and I have lots of errands to run tomorrow, so won't be here to make more mess

tortoise · 29/06/2008 20:38

Evening all.
Will make this a quick post as PC keeps shutting down again.

Bedrooms all sorted. Beds moved, draws moved and toys sorted and put in right rooms!

My bed is now in the shed! Need to get it to the dump really. No interest on freecycle.
I nearly fell on the stairs getting the mattress down! Was alot of work in one day for just me but glad all done. DS's helped a bit putting toys away.

Hope all ok.

EustaciaVye · 29/06/2008 20:56

Jas - Dont worry. I feel the need to be an expert at something so will share shiny sink tips tomorrow. You need to join in though...

tortoise · 29/06/2008 21:28

Amazingly PC is still on.
Wouldn't stay on for DS's to play on it!

Bianca Sorry i missed you on MSN.

Ambi · 29/06/2008 21:35

I've got my afternoon routine to do and I've lost all motivation, it might be the steak pie and chips pub dinner I've scoffed- yeah yeah the diet will start tomorrow someone give me a kick up the backside to finish off what I need to.

Madhouse- I've no idea what wiggles is but a day on the motorway isn't fun.
Ruby- that lady would have upset me too, but what a nice thing you tried to do to help her.

babyjjbaby · 29/06/2008 21:39

SlightlyMadSweet · 29/06/2008 21:45

Evening alll, especially flybabies> There seem to be about 5-6 of us now, shall we stay on this thread, or create our own to do baby babbling (with an open invitation to join the grown ups when we want) - do any of the gurus or newbies have an opinion?

Shall we all aim to be on day 5 on Weds and synchronise with each other?? It means a cuiple would have to do double days, but TBH day 2 & 3 are a bit dull, and lack intensity.

for Ruby and Mad EV I had worked it out correctly

Happy birthday lucky

....I seem to have had a Pizza day today.

I had leftover Pizza (from PizzaHut) for brekkie
We had Pizza for lunch at FILs
I have just had the remaining Pizza from PizzaHut for supper.

I feel v v v .

As well as spending most of the day travelling to, from and vistiting FIL (via the scenic route kindly provided by DPs new pink SatNav). I have also learnt that I shall be able to sleep through the SatNav commands on our way to France .

We have also doen another load of washiing (well I need to go and get it in from garage) and put up bathroom blind. I think the Bathroom is officially FINISHED now. Thank bloody God. We only started back in March. It looks good though.

I am feeling a bit shit - up too early, too long in the car and probably too much pizza. So I think I am going to do a dummy Tesco order to reserve my slot, broswe MN, have a shower and go to bed.

Night all.

Jas · 29/06/2008 21:45

Stop telling us about the beach babyjj...it isn't fair!

Ambi.....Listen to this while you go and do your evening routine
