Morning all ....nearly the weekend YAY!!!

mission

DS has a cold still and his glands are still up.

Was supposed to have some friends round today but not sure if that is the sensible thing to do as they all have young kiddies (incl a 10 week old)
...probably will cancel - what is the etiquette? I never know

been up since 5.30 with DS and I am feeling tired already!!!!

GOing off to start now....

need to go shopping
put a load of washing on
do some ironing
hoover

scatty hope your cold has not developed too bad

ruby hope you had a nice evening and ate some cake and drank some wine!!!

gem - tell the parents there is a cold in the house. As the baby is so yound he will sleep a lot anyway and probably not mix with yours iykwim. If they want to cancel they can.

Lots to do today as house is now good. Off to look at mission.

Morning Ladies

I am having a day at home today. I have entertained the kids all week and the house has suffered. I have washing to do and rooms to clean and tidy, so the kids will have to entertain themselves today I think.

I would like to do the garden too, I didn't get round to it yesterday as a friend called by and we took the kids for a walk instead.

Our neighbours little girl slept over last night so they all had quite a late night so a nice chilled day at home might be best anyway.

Weather is dull, it was really sunny earlier....DS came into our room and yanked the curtains open to show me the sun.....which almost burned my retinas out!
Its just a bit grey now.

It's raining here again this morning

Ds has a freind-fest today - he's going to play with a friend this morning, then has at least 2 freinds coming this afternoon.

Dd is feeling a bit left out so I'm hoping to take her swimming this morning and we'll do something together while ds is entertained with his friends this afternoon

House is a tip!

morning all.
my flat is still a tip! i've sorted dry washing and hung the last of the wet up to dry ( well til 5 mins when washer finishes!)
had breakfast and thats about it. will try and do a bit more in a bit. off to my nan's today, dd's bridesmaid dress arrived yesterday so need to try it on her.
so prob wont get anything done again today.
dd is def. wanting a pony, it was the first thing she asked for again this morning!

gem thanks for thread. i would do as ev suggest, let the parents know there is a cold in house and let them decide whther or not to come.

Morning all

I am feeling a lot better this morning.

Last night I managed to:

Polish downstairs
Hoover downsrtairs
Mop downstairs
Clean all the kitchen tops

This morning I have:

TD on
Another wash on inc DS2s snotty pillow case again
Morning routine completed

I hav e had a decent nights sleep too and a little cuddling with DH before sleep and I feel more able to take on the world and mum.

It is peeing down here, so I am going to take the boys out to finnish the shopping and then it will be play at home.

The steriods have klicked in with mum, which means her collitis is much better, but no sleep, as they make her wide awake

Luda Hope you enjoy your home day.. sometimes it is good to hunkerdown and just stay in for a bit.

bianca hope your DD doesn't get too down with DS's friend fest.. it must be hard for you juggling both of their needs..

So we were supposed to see some friends today but I am going to put them off as I have had social overload this week and I feel the need to crawl into a cave. It is raining again, but the boys are playing nicely together so I may suggest a PJ/duvet day.

have unloaded & reloaded Dishwasher and washing machine
cleaned kitchen
made beds
ss bathrooms

need to
do some ironing
clear out DS2's drawers of all the clothes he has grown out of.
tidy some more of the study.

The weather is glorious here now. The clouds have moved and the sun is beaming.

I have just been to the bank to put some money in and bought the kids a magazine so they are all in the garden on a blanket, reading/looking at/destroying them!

Must crack on with the washing....can get it all on the line now.

EV aka FGS I was thinking the same about tort when i watched the news with dh this morning.
luda you sound much more up beat.hope those money worries don't continue it horrible when we need things & there just isn't any more money.How did you get on with your Avon?
bianca good to hear that dd is ok, apart from the snot..uck!

Ellie is barking like a dog, her throat sounds raw. taking her to Dr's at 450 this afternoon only appointment available. Want to make sure nothing nasty about to kick off due to start Preschool Monday afternoon

Right I have a little girl trying to pull me off the chair as she wants a cuddle

Avon order is due to arrive on Monday, so we'll see how long it takes to sort it all out (apparently it is arriving in 9 boxes! )
Poor Ellie....I do hope her throat is ok. How exciting, preschool on Monday!

hi all got on really well last night so want to try and do it again today hope everyone is ok

beds put up
dogs walked
washing up on line
put a few bits away
sure i have done more

to do
s&s bathroom
s&s kitchen
vacuem
tidy up
do the washing ?
use the vax to dry carpet
wash up
clean windows
fil water barrel up
empty toilet and waste water
get drinking water
fold washing up and put away if dry
go to the beach bbl

Well so much for the sunshine....I have had to bring all the washing back in as it has started to rain

Actually it feels very thundery, dark clouds and big rain drops, yet it is really warm.
I love a good thunder storm.

House is comming along now, its very hard to tidy with all the kids around though as they mess just as quickly as I'm tidying!

DD1 had a great party yesterday. About 6 didn't turn up! And one who hadn't replied did turn up! Face painter was fantastic! The faces she did were amazing!

EV Yes am ok thanks. My town was mentioned on BBC news due to floods though. haven't ventured into town yet but need to after lunch.

Luda I've just risked hanging my washing out...am a bit nervous about it though as it's gone ratehr grey....

Well, dd and I have been and had a lovely swim We chatted lots about our up=coming holiday and how much we're looking forward to it
Ds has 2 friends set to arrive in the next 30mins, poor dd hasn't managed to find a single friend who is in/wants to come and play

Other than laundry no other FLYing is happening

Bianca Yes Got pics of DD's and one of her friends because his mum asked me to get a pic for her. Will add DD's to profile in a min. Hope you can find something nice to do with DD while DS plays.

Nothing much to do with dd as I now have another friend coming for a cuppa with her 2 boys! We'll have a houseful soon! And poor dd the only girl

Hi all.

Lots of socialising going on I see (well with DCs anyway).

Lovely pic Bianca. Makes it all worthwhile eh?

My house is totally shocking as I have done no flying all week . Its not so much having DCs under my feet as DH lol.

Been swimming this am. DH has taken DCs out now so I should be doing something useful, but have a man in fixing the blinds so he's under my feet now, lol.

Hope you stay dry tort(where do you live?)
