Morning all ....nearly the weekend YAY!!!

mission

DS has a cold still and his glands are still up.

Was supposed to have some friends round today but not sure if that is the sensible thing to do as they all have young kiddies (incl a 10 week old)
...probably will cancel - what is the etiquette? I never know

been up since 5.30 with DS and I am feeling tired already!!!!

GOing off to start now....

need to go shopping
put a load of washing on
do some ironing
hoover

scatty hope your cold has not developed too bad

ruby hope you had a nice evening and ate some cake and drank some wine!!!

I have strimmed and mown the jungle that was our front garden...I am knackered as it took me at least 2 hours!
Its only a tiny bit of grass too!

I have also put supper on and tidied the living room and done the washing....Am I Super Woman or what!!!!!!!!!????

I'm all excited now as a lady from Avon phoned earlier to say that my order would have to be delivered tomorrow instead of Monday as they are short of drivers....which is actually much better for me as Monday is usually very busy. It'll give me plenty of time to sort them all out and give them to everyone.
(even though they are not for me....strangely I'm still excited just at the thought of having 9 boxes of cosmetics and toiletries to sort through!

(Its the sun...and the long battle with the lawn....its frazzled my one and only brain cell)

Oh...Bianca I hope it doesn't rain for you...we had about a 5 minute shower and then the sun shone brightly all afternoon.

I have popped two new pictures of the boys in the sports culture

I am off to the doctors with DS2 in 5 mins as he is not getting any better - poor mite.

yay new smileys got on quite well today aprt from i cheated with the washing and going to the beach we drove to the laundrett and id the bedding aswell and whilst it waS doing we went on the beach for half hour but it was luvly

s&s bathroom done
s&s kitchen done
vacuem done
tidy up done
do the washing ? done
use the vax to dry carpet done
wash up done more to do tho
clean windows nope
fil water barrel up didn't need doing
empty toilet and waste water done
get drinking water will do
went to the beach done
fold washing up if dry and put away done to do
wash up
ironing?
tidy up again
get more washing in

I am completely shattered! We have had a house full of kids this afternoon (dd finally found a friend which brought the total to 9)

It was fun though

Kids have been good and helped tidy-up, mostly because we have new reward charts, they get 10p per step up the chart they are by Saturday

Had a worrying phone call from a friend though just now regarding dd - could do with chatting about it - any chance you're about on MSN for a minute Luda?

not going to post much about this, just been reading another thread on MN tonight and wanted to apologise to any of you lovely ladies if I have put you in a difficult position by posting about the things I have been dealing with recently.

I will continue to post inane housekeeping nonsense, just seen things in a different light from that other thread and it never occured to me the effect my posting could have on other people.

jingleyjen - I think I know which thread you refer to. I hope you arent worried about comments I specifically made on that, as I wasnt actually thinking of you when I made them. There has been a lot of interesting points on the thread. I felt glad you were able to talk to us recently and wouldnt have been on your other thread, asking how you were, if I didnt want to be. I hope that makes sense.

I have personally found the last couple of days of chat threads quite harrowing though.
Sorry if this message is a bit cryptic but didnt want to go into detail here....

Please dont feel you cant talk to us.

Hello all - I've missed loads , and just read the last four days threads, but can't remember everything, sorry.

Bianca - I hope you are ok?

Jen - I can't speak for everyone, but I've read the thread from today, and I did read some of your recent threads but didn't post. I don't think you posted inappropriately on these threads.
We all (or many of us, me included) talk about non housekeeping stuff. Some more serious than others. That is one of the things I like about these threads.

I've written and deleted lots of huge posts this evening I'm not sure what i really want to say.....

I'm not FLYing at all, but am hoping to get back to it next week once the children are back to school, and dp is (fingers crossed here) back at work.

I have wet hair from my bath, so will have to dry it at some point, but just doing some tea loaf for DS2 to have a bite of before I dose him with Neurofen

What did i miss with the emoticons? I kept looking and trying to work out how they were diff from norm then read they were back to norm!

Been out this eve with DD's to DS2's football presentation eve. Not long got back.
