Five children’s books for donation.

DD sorted through her clothes at the weekend. One bag went to textile recycling yesterday. I need to go through the rest again as it's wearable items.
Lots of work this week which limits my time.

5 x footwear out
2x clothing out
1 x old bell out
got a huge load of shredding to do discovered whilst finding insurance stuff
found a usable folding parka to go in school bag hopefully find another so younger 2 can have 1 each
1 empty storage box generated 🤗

found- accessories for current stream cleaner, vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner respectively
out- accessories for my probably stolen lost carpet cleaner

Another bag to the charity shop for me today, and a bag of electrical recycling, so that’s 22 things total.

I’ve sold a few more things on vinted so will count them when posted. Also, part of my charity shop bag was reducing my vintage pile down to just one bag. It’s no use having bags and bags sitting round. I will try to reduce further I think.

I’ve got a big pile of stuff for the school fete, I might give that all a big sort too. And maybe another push on books and toys for that pile.

We're on day 315 now (Ithink) and I've decluttered 12 books this month. I did text books first, then few cookbooks amd now few art/coffee table books. Next I need yo start on fiction. The first 12 books were huge so that's a really decent gap now. I've been stacking books in all sorts of places for years....

today I gave away 2 books, 5 nice kids coat hangers and a top that didn’t fit right. Also sold 3 items on Vinted.

I took a day off from decluttering books and got rid of a clothes drying rack which I left in the garden over the summer...it was very very old and now it's just way too rusty!

Went back through DDs room. Have done possibly half of it so far

Charity shop: 2x jumpers, 5x leggings, 5x tshirts, drawer divider, 2x bags

Bin / recycling: folder, broken fairy lights, 2x shirts, 3x coat hangers, holey socks, candle, 2x bags, trainers

Total: 1827

Gosh we are all doing so well right now!

Three more Vinted sales which is great. I'm just about to go through the odd sock bag. I suspect many will go. I have made £50 in the last few days on Vinted. There is no logic at all to what sells when.

I agree @IncessantNameChanger- lots of good work! My vinted stuff has gone, so with a table and all the charity stuff, that’s a total of 1515 for the year. 💪 needing to be strong heading into Christmas 🎄

Good morning folks - had a week off as been staying with my folks. I popped home midweek to collect something & realised anew how much still needs doing! It’s so cluttered everywhere! I want to have a complete blitz & deep clean before the Christmas tree goes up early next month.

Still progressing slowly. Trying to do Lego but have had a couple of days off. Went through stationery yesterday and found 2 old cardboard folders whose glue had come unstuck so popped them in the recycling.

This week has been challenging, I'm being hit hard with fatigue at the moment, im not sure if it's one or both of the medication I have that's causing it, but I've felt some days it's been a success just to keep on top of the day to day stuff 😢
But I have managed to empty the fridge, and finished the pantry, decluttered a drawer in the kitchen and a bathroom cabinet.

Not had the most fruitful week due to long work days.
However, today I got rid of aĺl the blister pack recycling thanks to Superdrug for having a new larger container. Soft plastics also all gone.
Listed a couple of DD's tops on Vinted. I do have other things to list but should have done the photos before it got dark.

Not been on here much but you’re all doing very well!
Handyman now says he’s too busy before Christmas to come which is very aggravating, I have sent a message to a friend who’s husband is useful, so I may beg him to come round and do the jobs (& pay him obvs).

Jobs:

1. Hang up framed pictures
2. my British passport application: Interview done, passport arrived! ✅
3. DS1’s gaming, PC, Nerf, Warhammer & D&D sorted and tidied and put away into eaves cupboards
4. Bathroom redecoration: Mirror & pictures up
5. Dhelves in DS1’s room
6. flu jab; booked for next week DONE ✅
