TheMadHouse · 27/05/2008 09:28

CONGRATULATIONS DAME and FAMILY - He is georgous, I am broody.

Well we had great days out over the weekend, but came back last night and popped to see mum, who was in a right state (her chrones had flared up) and I called out the doctor. She was taken into hospital. I stayed with her till 11pm when I came home and she still had not seen a doctor. They are doing rounds this morning, so should have a better idea after 11am.

I rang MIL last night to see if she would take the boys for a couple of hours this afternoon whilst I visited and she agreed, only for her to ring this morning and cancell as one of the dogs has D&V. Typical dogs more imporatant than grandchildren

SO we are off to a music session this morning, back for lunch and then I will call the hospital. Both friends are on holiday this week, so I am do on people who can look after the boys - typical

jingleyjen · 27/05/2008 09:44

Morning
nose back to the grindstone in the jingleyhouse.
congratulations Dame Washalot what a gorgeous baby.

TMH sorry to hear your mum is in hospital, are you taking the boys with you to see her?
dylsmum1998 great tohear that camping trip was a success, the weather here was pants.
FGS enjoy blitzing the living room, I find it always seem to be easier if we have a reason ie friends coming over
Bianca hope you have a good morning at work
Ruby sounds like you have been busy - no things are not love.. clear out they will find happiness elsewhere.
EHM thanks for the welcome back.. you decided what you are going to do today?
gem not sure we have met before, hope you manage to get your revision done - what you studying?
bewilderbeast hope your builder turns up and that your DP's appointment goes well.
Jas have a great day witht he girls.

I am going to tackle the ironing this morning. and hopefully get some dinner made up. got an appointment this afternoon at 3 and not sure how much I will get done for dinner if I don't do it before. Spag Bol in the jingley house I think..
If I get chance I will tidy the sittingroom.

OOOh Ruby ,... did you see a lady in germany has had her child taken into care as she put her 7 month old baby on ebay for £1

Ludaloo · 27/05/2008 10:25

Morning all

Dame a huge congratulations to you, he is sooooo sweet! Hope you are both doing well xx

Well, my SIL and co have departed, spent a lot of yesterday afternoon tidying.
I am busily changing bedding and the likes. It is a loveley sunny day but the wind is a nightmare! it blew the cover off DH's MG and next door had a tent up, which they had to rescue from the neighbours on the other side. The street light was in our front garden this morning! Next doors For Sale sign has disappeared too.....Crazy Weather, as DS said!

I am off into town shortly, have to get the guinea pigs some more food and hay, and I might take the kids to the sports centre...they have an indoor play area there.

Other than entertaining and tidying, not much else to report from the ludaloo household.

I haven't had a chance to catch up properly, but hope everyone is doing ok

BabiesEverywhere · 27/05/2008 10:52

Hi, I am rejoining the FLY thread...I HAVE to get sorted before the new baby arrives.

I seem to be on an even keel with the kitchen, bathroom and living room.

Though I need my DH to put a couple of shelves up in the kitchen to eliminate a hotspot on top of the fridge, excellent place to dump stuff.

Plus the bathroom has a cupboard that I need to tackle, which I hope to do this week.

The living room has been decluttered (took a toddler free day to do it) and is a tidy as it can be, so that is good news.

Our bedroom I have been fighting with since we moved here I am down to one corner of bags/boxs to sort, which sounds a lot but believe me it is so much better now than it was. Nothing under the bed !!!

Last (massive) hotspot is in the spare room. All the books need sorting and some taking to the charity shop And I have 5/6 crates of craft stuff which needs sorting into a sell pile, store in the attic pile and a 'might use with a newborn in the house !!!' pile.

All in all, done a lot...need to do a lot

jingleyjen · 27/05/2008 11:01
