I must get off my fat arse and sort the mess out.
But it is soo boring!

BiancaCastafiore · 12/04/2008 14:45

I have no chips in the house

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 14:47

Do you have potatoes?

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 12/04/2008 14:48

I have sweet potatoes....

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 14:50

you could make sweet potato chips...

Peel and cut into chip shapes....par boil then spray/drizzle with oil...then oven bake.

Yum and not so fattening

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 12/04/2008 14:53

...I could...if I could be bothered

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 14:56

big faff but well worth it....

I have been eating loads of them! i started doing the slimming world diet with my friend (she has been doing it a bit longer) and I'm chuffed...its an easy diet to follow.

(any diet that lets you eat unlimited chips gets my vote! )

More washing up done. Need it to drain a bit before drying it and putting away. Then there will be room to do the rest.

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/04/2008 15:49

I've weeded he garden, cut the grasss and put dowb seed on all the bald bits this afternoo.DD1 is at a party now, and dd2 is outside, so ds and I can have a quiet afternoon.

TMH you will need clothes for ds2 anyway.

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 15:54

Cleared the airing cupboard and put it all back in

tort I have just discovered a bag of boys clothes...all way to big for my DS....they range between 7 to 10 years mostly. How old are your DS's? If you are interested then you are very welcome to them, they are all in nice condition. Tousers, shorts, tops and a pair of slippers size 1/2. (There are about 12 items)

OP posts:
tortoise · 12/04/2008 15:55

Ooooh parsnip chips sound good. I love parsnips.

Nearly finished washing up! There really was loads of it. Had no clean plates or cups left.

tortoise · 12/04/2008 15:57

xposts Luda. DS's are 8 and 11. (nearly put 10 then lol!) Clothes would be great. Thanks.

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 15:59

I shall parcel them up and send them on

OP posts:
tortoise · 12/04/2008 16:00

Thanks. Do you want something to cover postage?

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 16:01

No its fine I might send them in two seperate lots though, as they are quite heavy all together.

OP posts:
tortoise · 12/04/2008 16:05

Ludaloo · 12/04/2008 16:06

Jas I read that as you'd wee-ed in the garden ! I'll sort out a list of clothes later

Dds wardrobe/drawers are full of clothes but quite a few bits are too big and we seem to have a problem with having wayyyy too many pretty dresses which are unsuitable to wear for the park/garden and therefore don't get much use (think I counted 7 dresses and 9 skirts) I think they're often bought as Christmas/birthday pressies. She also has several nice everyday dresses which are a bit short but would be nice with leggings under so I need to find some white and pale pink summery leggings from somewhere.

I'm enjoying watching (well listening to) Gavin and Stacey on iPlayer while sorting the clothes - I heart my laptop

DontDreamItBeIt · 12/04/2008 16:14

DD2is a party dress girl, too. I don't make her keep them for paries any more. She wears them everywhere Occasionally people do ask why she is all dressed up when we are out, but it makes her happy and gets some use out of hem.

grouchyoscar · 12/04/2008 16:29

Hello all

Spent ages writing a message and the network crashed and - zap- gone. Bugger

It was too long and rambling anyway. MNHQ probably thought it was too stream of conciousness and had it trashed for my own good.

So I can assure you I have been busy tiding, vaccing, S&Sing, making beds, feeding birds, washing laundry, DW, TD and WM management and the like.

I'm going to start the planting with Ed tomorrow. I'll link it into the school's topic of growth and measure seedings, take photos etc. Should be fun

See you later

tortoise · 12/04/2008 16:36

Bianca DD1 loves her pretty dresses. Most have come from friends/charity shop so she just wears them whenever! Hope this summer she will get to wear dresses if the weather is better. It is her trousers that dont get much use!
