Hi all. I'm tuning in from work.

I managed to load the washing machine before leaving the house. I still have a load from yesterday sitting in the dryer and a load in the washing basket waiting to be sorted so no points to me.

I'm amased how much you all get done with little ones about.

FGS what has happened to your knee?

tortoise · 28/02/2008 12:50

BiancaCastafiore · 28/02/2008 13:10

Poor dd has been sick now
I ran her a nice warm bath, she got in, complained of a headache and wanted to get out, while I was getting a towel she started shouting "I'm being sick, I'm being sick!!" so was sick in the bath [ewwww] Had to shower her off, get her out and now she's tucked back in bed looking very pale and sorry for herself

Can't see myself getting much else done today. I might tackle the ironing (never have much so shouldn't take long) or I might not...feel a bit ill myself now...

Back later x

FunkyGoldStar · 28/02/2008 13:12

P00r thing Bianca, but at least sick in the bath is better than all over the carpet

Scatty - I have cartilage problems. Knee has been going for ages.

Shannaratiger · 28/02/2008 13:21

Hello again

Have a second window of this thread open so won't forget anyone

Minkus i think the morning routine is the most important - sink full of dirty dishes and no clean clothes is the most depressing and uninspiring thing.
trinity hope you goto school ok. i used to be just the same with the washing piles, this is the biggest thing i've stopped doing since starting flying.
FGS sorry about hospital results. Hope it all gets sorted fairly quickly.
ivc lol at dream. you want to watch that flylady quoting, who knows where it will end?
TMH why is it DS1's last day at nursery?
Dream hope toddler group went well.
baby that looks like a really long list to me!
Bianca hope dd gets better soon.
janni glad atmosphere is better, DH sulks for hours if i critisize him, i tend to bottle it up though which is really bad for me.

i'm definately in contension for the worst flyer this month.

Washing is now in the t/d. DD is very tired and clingy so am trying to type one handed which is taking ages.
i think today is going to be a general tidy up and putting everything back in the right rooms.
Had better go and do something as finished lunch ages ago.
Have a good afternoon
BBL

Hey Shanna - that's so nice to mention everyone, like EHM does .

Talking of EHM is she on holiday?

DH taken DD out briefly so had lunch on MN.
Now need to: do quick tidy-up in boys' bedrooms.

BiancaCastafiore · 28/02/2008 13:45

Janni, EHM is feeling rough due to the jabs she's having (IVF) She says hello and will be back as soon as she's feeling brighter again

Good to see you shanna

tortoise · 28/02/2008 13:47

Didn't mention me.

Janni EHM was mentioned the other day. The injections she is having for ivf make her ill etc (can't remember exact words lol)

tortoise · 28/02/2008 13:47

X posts with Bianca!

Bewilderbeast · 28/02/2008 13:55

hello all waves to tort FGS sorry about the knee

hello to all the newbies who I haven't said hello to yet (Even though I know you've been here for a while )

Done
bed made
washing machine unloaded, reloaded and on
some washing put away
rapid tidy of the kitchen - it didn't make much impact but it won't be as depressing when I get home

Janni · 28/02/2008 14:10

Oh lots of love to EHM xx , thanks for letting me know Bianca and Tort

To do: laundry, tidy 2 more bedrooms

intravenouscoffee · 28/02/2008 14:13

Hello again. Was at baby yoga this morning so everything running late now. Just having lunch (fed DD first as she was ravenous) and catching up on the v long thread whilst DD sits on the floor eating one of her socks. Thought I was the only one whose life had been taken over by laundry. Came home about a month ago and burst into teas when I realised that the laundry basket which I had emptied the day before was 3/4 full again. DH looked quite scared! anyway, have accepted thaat in order to stay on top of it I need to do at least 2 loads a day and I now try to put them away every day too which has made a huge difference. Liked FGS's ides of puttingclean clothes in empty drawers and working from there. Wish I'd thought of that - although doing a drawer a day I got through most of it in less than a week. Right, lunch finished and DD has vomited on her sock so I'd better go and be productive

Janni · 28/02/2008 14:38

Right, the flat is now at a reasonable level of tidiness. Can't think about the cleaning just yet!
Need to: write shopping list and do school pick-up

sushistar · 28/02/2008 14:45

ohhh, i've done no flying. went to baby group, then into town to buy one of those sucky things to clear ds's nose (nice!) then home, fed him and changed him and ate lunch. Going to set to work now! Inspoired by the fly treads i got a NEW apron yesterday with blue flowers which almost makes me want to do housework!

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 14:59

no list.

I stayed out after todddler group and had lunch in the caff with my friends.DS went to sleep so then we sat around and drank tea.

All I've done today is put the washing on the line. I have an extra hour as both dds are at after school clubs, so I'll try and get something done.....

OP posts:
DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 15:00

I don't own an apron.

OP posts:
intravenouscoffee · 28/02/2008 15:10

Neither do I. Then again, before monday I didn't own a mop or a feather duster.

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 15:28

No feather duster, either

OP posts:
BiancaCastafiore · 28/02/2008 15:42

I own two aprons - MiL gave me one for Christmas
No feather duster although I could probably do with one.

Dd had a long sleep so as I missed my long walk to school I went and did just over an hour tidying up in the garden ds is home now and dd is awake so I'd better go and spend some time with them.
Back later

babyjjbaby · 28/02/2008 15:49

DontDreamItBeIt · 28/02/2008 15:57
