Excellent news puppy
Quakes at making invitations...

sushi Thanks for that ..Sounds almost too easy !How long do you simmer for ?

Bad mother....ds is 2 tomorrow. I sent text invites to my friends with small children this afternoon.
I am making him a cake tonight and will make a card, too.

Dame - Routine helps, writing it down helps. I have mine on the computer, too, but have a print copy up in the kitchen as well. If you only do the mission and random 15 min bursts you won't get long term results. A basic routine will keep you on top of things (mine includes stuff like listening to dds reading, and eating breakfast as well as housework) then the 15 mins is extra.

Hi Guys,

had a quick skim through the thread, thank you for all your well wishes.
Bianca Thanks heaps for your text message, you are always so thoughtful...I still can't figure out how to send a text back, I need to phone Orange really, but thanks, much appreciated

Dad was ok, he clearly isn't well though, very tired and shaky
I'm very pleased I went to see him though, I told him off, and made sure he was resting and taking the tablets (I think my SM had it covered...but I double nagged anyway!)
I'm still a bit worried, mainly because of the distance. No one is really sure what is wrong either, the hospital didn't explain it very clearly. He just had severe pains in his shoulder, which hurt when he breathed in, they moved round to under his shoulder blades then. "Plauristic" something or another....seems like an infection in the muscles around his lungs, as the x-ray showed his heart and lungs to be healthy (thankfully)
Anyway, he is back to the doctors tomorrow, so hopefully they might know more.

Anyway...I am just off for a nice hot bath as I am KNACKERED!!!

See you all tomorrow

Hello.
Very long thread!
Welcome back to TR Great start today.
Ruby I booked a smear test last week (at last) and have to go Wednesday morn.
Welcome any newbies.

Had a VERY stressful morning. As usual i wasn't organised for school and we were late leaving so had to rush to school.

Started off with DS's not being able to find uniform which i hadn't got around to putting away! Then they couldn't find their shoes(they are suppose to be put on the shoe rack!) Then DS2 forgot his guitar and PE kit(which i hadn't got ready until this morn).

So i was feeling very angry with myself and my lack of organisation. I just don't seem able to follow a routine.

Have done tonights washing up which makes a change but i hate all the rest of the rooms in the house!

x posts luda. Glad your dad is doing ok.

Ludaloo · 25/02/2008 19:49

Oooooh just googled Pleuricy (can't spell it!)

doesn't sound very nice at all! [gulp]
I hope that isn't actually what is wrong

sagacious · 25/02/2008 19:53

luda missed your dad bit (wasn't around yesterday) Hope he's ok and you're enjoying your bath !

Waves to tort dream I bought some invites for dd's party (mid April) but only cos they were half price Hope your ds has a fab time

Well i'm off to sit on the sofa in a blanket, I'm feeling cold and achey

Dc's are in bed/dh out on work do so a cup of tea and a dr who re run for tonight [nerdemoticon]

TheMadHouse · 25/02/2008 20:03

Sag I am a nerd too love Dr Who and anything Sci Fi

Luda I am sorry that you are still worried about your dad. Pleurisy can be really painful my FIL is getting over it (farmer - hasnt had a day off, only went to the doc cause he couldnt breath - first time in 40 years)

Well done all newbies for joining and for managing to get through the day. I only ever managed to shine my sink for the first week.

I also have my routine on PC and am happy to send it to if you CAT me.

I have done the ironing - yipee and managed to get it all away. Evening routine is done

I need to go up to the spare room and put away the linen that was airing and thats it for tonight.

I have been let down for cover with the Ds's for my consultant appointment tomorrow - so I am looking for cover, mum is not well enough and MIL is also at the hospital. friends Mum has been rushed in, so I have left another message for my last resort. It is only ds1 really as DS2 can not understand any of it.

Also I didnt manage to call the dentists - I bottled it

tortoise · 25/02/2008 20:07

TMH Hope you find someone to have DS's. Sorry about your toothache too. Hope you can get yourself to book in and get it sorted.

Forgot to add on my post about DD1. She had earache yet again last night so missed the 1st day back at school and is on antibiotics.

PuppyDogTails · 25/02/2008 20:09

We're using DS's birthday as an excuse for a big family party (at my parents, I've refused to host!) hence the forward planning. I've really enjoyed making the cards, I like a bit of crafting
