Oh and well done on sorting out DS's room. You deserve to relax now!

BiancaCastafiore · 20/01/2008 20:21

I have accepted your buddy request Tort but for some reason it still shows you as awaiting authorisation

Glad you go the bedroom done Gibberish

Dd and I have just had a big row I hate the way the two of us clash sometimes. We're friends again now thankfully

I'm unbelievably tired again this eve so am off for a bath and an early night.
Good night all x

tortoise · 20/01/2008 20:21

Thanks.!
Need to make some quick fairy cakes for lunch boxes though! Won't take me long.
Have already washed up tea things.
All this washing up is making my hands very dry!

How do i work out calories? I have never calorie counted!

tortoise · 20/01/2008 20:22

Hi bianca. Sorry you had a row. Glad made up again though. Hope you get a good nights sleep and feel better tomorrow.

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 20:46

hi tortoise! I'm about to make fairy cakes too... when my ds2 decides to go to sleep, that is. Am propped up in the corner of his room with laptop in an attempt to scare him enough to stay in bed
did you find me on fb? i have changed my settings so you should be able to find me now

tortoise · 20/01/2008 20:55

Fairy cakes are in the oven now. Would of been choc chip ones but some pig scoffed the whole packet the other night.
Now i will have to ice them or butterfly cake them!!
Haven't had a chance to look for you on fb yet giggle.

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 21:04

i'm doing chocolate chip ones! - dairy free chocolate chip ones, actually. tis why i never seem to stop cooking and baking, both boys are df, and both obv take packed lunches to school. they have particularly requested choc chip tonight, presumably so they can gloat at their peers again (school trying to force infant and junior-age children to give up chocolate ) and they can genuinely say "but it isn't chocolate..."
Thus am not going to ask their reason for wanting choc chip

tortoise · 20/01/2008 21:06

Have added you as friend on fb.

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 21:15

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 21:40

how bout those butterfly thingies with jam? (depends how old your dc are tho...my dd is 2, just pokes/licks all the jam out and crumbles the cake)

tortoise · 20/01/2008 21:41

DS1 and DD2 won't eat jam! they can have them plain for tomorrow. Won't hurt them ! They are very nice though!

TheMadHouse · 20/01/2008 21:42

You got any chocolate at all melt it and pour on top - yum

tortoise · 20/01/2008 21:46

TMH nope! Searched the cupboard for something but can't find anything!

TheMadHouse · 20/01/2008 21:46

Crap day really at the Mad HOuse.

Baby L is not that well, no signs of waking and also no sounds. He possibly may have some paralasis (sp). Another scan tomorrow.

I feel so sad and if I feel that bad, I can not imagine the pain my neice and partner are feeling. My Bro is being fab looking after business and 2.8 yo neice and 14 yo nephew, so that SIL can spend time at the hospital.

I am making bolegnease for them tomorrow

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 21:49

poor babe

tortoise · 20/01/2008 21:50

Aww TMH thats sad. I hope he picks up soon. It must be so hard for them to deal with.

TheMadHouse · 20/01/2008 21:51

Sorry guys. Just kind of hits you sometimes. I want to punch the midwife at the moment.

I am eating chocolate by the bucketload

gigglewitch · 20/01/2008 21:55

you're doing your bit, have seen on other threads over the last ?week or so. It really is sad when a babe is so unwell. It changes the way you look at everything doesn't it?

tortoise · 20/01/2008 21:57

They are lucky to have you there helping out and supporting them. It is understandable how your feeling.

TheMadHouse · 20/01/2008 21:58
