gibberish · 19/01/2008 23:25

what age is dd2?

gigglewitch · 19/01/2008 23:27

rude reference to where you live (Scotland being 'wild' n'all)

think best age to start is 5, maybe 4. we take them at three and i took my DD (just 2) today cos she insisted. yes ok she is 2ft high and I should be the boss, but she insisted so loudly.... and she looks very cute in her ballet shoes.

tortoise · 19/01/2008 23:27

Arrrggghhhh your a point ahead even AFTER my turn!!

DD2 is 3. 4 in July.

tortoise · 19/01/2008 23:28

DD1 is 5 in April so she would be fine. She loves prancing around the room being a 'ballerina'!

gigglewitch · 19/01/2008 23:31

depends on the child (if she has big sis along she'd probably be great!) - and the school, what their classes are like. what area (very ish) are u in tortoise?

tortoise · 19/01/2008 23:32

Somerset.
It done in a local hall by (from what i have heard) a very good teacher.
Mostly worried about cost tbh.

gigglewitch · 19/01/2008 23:39

For that reason I run a bargain-bucket setup. anything black for uniform, sale board where they exchange shoes, buy one kid lessons and get the second half-price. Anyone unfortunate enough to have more than three girls ( sorry gibber) doesnt pay for them after three and we have a couple of "scholarships".... but i am not trying to make a living from it, it is just something i love doing and when i grow up i might decide to stop. Nah, maybe not.

gibberish · 19/01/2008 23:39

mwahahaha the tide is turning....

5 should be fine! If you send the two of them they may give a discount for the second child. Ours do.

Cheeky mare giggle - I'm not wild! Very calm and house trained me.

tortoise · 19/01/2008 23:40

FunkyGlassSlipper · 19/01/2008 23:53

Hi guys, Back from evening out. DD2 cried from 9.30 to 11.30 apparently as teething. Feel very guilty as MIL looked after her
