Off for my first cuppa pf the day. Ellie slept from 12pm until 715 this morning without waking. I know not impressive really given that she is nearly 20 months. Although impressive by Ellie's standards

Well we've decided that the sofa bed is quite comfy, so we are moving downstairs onto it, and we are going to decorate the room for dd1. I need furniture to make good use of the (very small) space though which isn't easy.
After hunting online for hous, dp suggested the hing I had planned righ fromthe start, but he told me wouldn't work We'll think about it more today.

My M & D are visiting today. They haven't been since well before i started FLYing so hopefully they will notice and improvement and Mum won't offer to scrub the kitchen floor and sink

Morning routine is underway, not dressed yet though but it is the weekend. Have changed our bed and is in the W/M.

Well we are up and dressed and I am waiting for the porridge to cool enough for breakfast. DH is still in bed, but I will wake him with tea after breakfast as I am at the hairdressers at 9.30. DS1 asked me why my hair was white - LOL

we dont have many plans for the weekend, but do need to get a new remote for the TV as the boys has broke the other one.

I hope we have goodish weather and no more rain please

TMH I wanted this but of course it is out of stock.

The room is 6 foot x 8 approximately, so there is space for a bed and wardrobe, but I need the best storage possible.

Budge is about £300 for everything, and all the other beds I can find are £300 plus on their own.

I really should have left for work by now bu the car has a flat-ish tire so dh has gone to put some air in it (6 mile trip to nearest garage so I'll be late...)

Jas we got this for ds, it's cheap but suprisingly strong. We've fitted a cube storage unit underneath and left some play area, he also just has room for a wardrobe in his room.

Managed to still stay up late last night...think I'm avoiding bedtime with dh - we're in a low place relationship wise (as always) and I'm finding sleeping in the same bed a problem Must get to bed first tonight and get a decent sleep.

Did manage to find a potential holiday place last night so hope to hear back from them today

I.am.knackered.!! Seesion 1 wk 2 of jogging programme completed! It was hard work but i am really pleased with myself for doing it.
Now if i could just stop eating biscuits i might see some results.

Got to walk down town now for a few bits. I forgot to buy wahing up liquid. I'm not used to needing it much.. but in some ways wasing up works out quite well because all the sides get wiped too and it stays tidier!

Someone give me the energy to move again please??

I have been pottering around tidying, but got severely distracted by all our new channels!!!!

I have just watched "Homes Behaving Badly" on UK Style
Its fab...brilliant tips, and you get to see a house in chaos all tidied up in just one day!
It makes me want to try all the tips out!

I am very sad aren't I...nothing better to do on a Saterday than watch programmes about house work LOL!!!

tort I am [envious] that you have motivated yourself to go out running, I just seem to plan to go out then stuff gets in the way!

Gawd, I have completely cleaned the fireplace, and polished the tiles!
Hoovered all around the edges of the room and the skirts.
I have also put a good tip to practice to clean the TV....get a damp cloth and a pea size blob of washing up liquid and give it a good scrub. Considering I dust the tv at least once/twice a week I was amazed at how brown the cloth was after!!
I will do the tvs upstairs in the same way!

Ruby do you have Sky? Its on the UKtv channel...lots of them all on after each other! (How am I going to cope when they get turned back off in 2 weeks!?....Its like 24hour Anthea!!!)

Awww Ruby Its probably just as well...we won't be upgrading when they go (even though I am sure that was their cunning plan!)
I would really just watch tv all the time! I have Jamie Oliver on now! Back to back Jamie! Except I can't cook to save my life so never remember or comprehend tips from him! I just stare and wish I was that clever in the kitchen!

Just back from work, lots to do as I hadn't been in since just before New Year. I'll be in again on Monday/Tuesday so I can finish off then

Dd is at a party and ds is watching Star Wars with dh. Ds seems a little under the weather, his eyes are all pale and he's just not his usual self...

Thanks for your concern everyone, dh and I will be fine I'm sure. We do get on perfectly well in some ways so he must eventually see how things are..

Luda, no Sky here either or I'd be a complete telly addict lol! I just use a cloth with washing up liquid on for almost every household task - it seems to be great for everything and if you get the anti-bac one you're dealing with the germs too
Tort well done on the jogging I'm walking home from school the long way but that's as far as I've got so far. I'm going to sign up for the Good housekeeping walking plan (can't remember what they called it...)

Hello ALL Been out and about with kids, now need to tidy up mess created by DH during HIS time with them!! Will not nag, will not nag...

For some reason was awake at 4.45 a.m. . Did some filing and bleached the hallway floorlike some obsessive madwoman! Am hoping to have a nap soon.

EHM it's bliss when they start getting the hang of sleeping, isn't it?

My DD's 'first' today was to get out of bed and play in her room without yelling for attention!

Hi Bianca Glad you had a good day even if it was busy (but I prefer busy to bored IYKWIM)
I'll be using the washing up liquid cleaning technique from now on...and you know me....I already have anti-bac LOL!

Kids have finished tidying their room and have read their library books, and chased each other round like complete maniacs with some goose feathers my dad had collected and sent in the post for them!! (My dad sends them all sorts of things he thinks they might like to see...and the HUGE feathers have been a great hit!)
They are now having a drink and hogging the TV...Mickey Mouse...It is nothing like how I remember! Its all really interactive...he stops and talks to the kids and asks them for help and things!
(Please bear with me...the excitement will wear off I'm sure )

Well while I am not distracted by cooking and cleaning on the tv, I had better sort out supper and tidy the kitchen LOL!

afternoon all didn't do any flying yesterday really as I was feeling awful. Don't feel brilliant today either but so far have done:

lunch made and eaten
washing up done
kitchen surfaces and stove cleaned
played with ds

to do
make tea
shred paperwork
have de-clutter something if I feel up to it
