Morning all

Off for my first cuppa pf the day. Ellie slept from 12pm until 715 this morning without waking. I know not impressive really given that she is nearly 20 months. Although impressive by Ellie's standards

Ladies I need your thoughts and prayers please www.mumsnet.com/Talk/138/456182?rnd=1200252974848

My lovley step neice's little boy has been born by a cash section after a failed induction and he has been starved of oxeygen. He is in SCBU.

I am really upset for her, as she is wonderful and is only small and the baby is 9lb 10. She was due on the 30 December and has been asking for an induction of a section since the 4 January. We were all so excited at the thought of a new arrival in the family and everyboby is heartbroken.

She has only just come round from the surgery and I am waiting for my SIL to ring me with more news

Oh TMH what a worrying time - I hope everything is OK for the babe and new mum x x
EHM you have been busy, I'm impressed
Luda well done on roping your neighbour in to help FLY

I've had a good day
We all went swimming this morning and both children loved it (a first)
Then we had a roast lunch followed by a lovely walk across the fields
Feeling a bit weepy though this evening for some reason...seem to have eaten loads this week and have put on a few lbs
The online holiday place is still showing our villa as available so that's a worry...I'll have to call them in the morning.
Ds is quite under the weather and even had a sleep this afternoon.

I'm watching Lark Rise to Candleford and then plan a bath and an early night. See you all tomorrow x

Evening.

I'm not getting much computer timeat the momet, so keep missig things.

I've bumped your thread TMH, and read the morning thread. That could be my life, except that dp rarly even agrees to get up first in the mornings, and I've learn not to believe him when he does, as I just end up in a worse state.

As we are now sleeping on the sofa downstairs, he will have to get up before lunch time at the weekend though.

I had to have a go at him this afternoon, when he wanted to take ds out and not dd2(who desperately wanted to go) DS is cuter, but really not fair on dd2 just because she whinges. He did take her in the end, but only after I'd accused him of favouritism

DontDreamItBeIt · 13/01/2008 21:06

Shannaratiger - Part of the reason I'm less than enthusiastic about dp making beds and wardrobes is the fact that he is in the middle of turning bathroom into a bedroom, and a bedroom into a bathroom and bedroom He has the skills, just not the time!

He never finishes what he starts, so this work is bad enough, dd1 in a half finished bedroom for months will make me very

Bewilderbeast · 13/01/2008 21:44

evenin' all third time here today

THM I have posted my positive thoughts for your dsn on your other thread.

luda ehm not AKs muffins although they may be similar, it's a good food recipe basic muffin type mixture although made with butter not oil and then basil, mozzarella and cherry tomatoes. DS seemed to quite like them too.

done

tea made and eaten (not a hit with DS) greek quiche
kitchen cleaned and tidied
washing up done
packed lunches made for me and dp
me showered and hair washed and dried
ds in bed
currently re-doing all the ironing the dp did earlier to 'help me out' would have been easier if I'd jsut done it myself to start with

Janni · 13/01/2008 23:24

TMH thoughts and prayers for mum and babe.
