Morning Guys.

I dont like this mission either.

Not having a good day. Told DD2 very loudly to 'SHUT UP' after constant whinging. She is only 13 months and DH was there so not amused. Feel v tired

Ruby - The nappy cakes look great!

Trinity - hope you come back today. How's Gecko? I find it hard with the littlun's about. My best trick is to have a drawer or understairs cupboard and start putting toys that are tat, broken, and havent been played with for more than 6 months or more. It is an easily accessible place so I can retrieve if DD asks for it. If it doesnt get asked for then it gets put in the garage and I will decide whether to keep or give away at some point.

I have bin bags of children's clothes I need to sort through. Sigh...

Keep the kitchen and the living room clutter free (ish) and then everything wont seem too bad as they are the places you spend a lot of time.

Back from school run
Arranged with friend to go dog walking with her 2x a week (part of my NY resolution to get fit and enjoy the surrounding countryside)
Had breakfast
Checked emails
Mn'ed

Need to :

Clear away breakfast stuff
One load washing
Get dd a drink as she's been asking for 10 mins
Hot spot ds's room
Wash ds's bedding and replace
Hotspot junk bowl in kitchen

FGS Don't be too hard on yourself re dd .. constant whinging is right up there with a dentists drill IMO. I'm sure we've all (ok well I have) certainly done it.

Waves to madhouse

Now where are all these newbies .. have I scared them off with my phnar phnar title ?

Back later dudettes x

Just an oldie here yadda, sorry to disappoint

Bit of a scary day for me today. Waiting for community health people who were due 10mins ago. Need to convince them I am not a raving loony and really quite sane. Not much chance of that.

Then got to go to Comet, armed with scary friend, to do battle.

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 09:48

Good luck at Comet Gibberish
Trinity nice to see you last night
Tort hope you have a good day today with lots of successful decluttering and tidying
Yadda at your dds feet! My dd is 6 and is a big size 1, ds is 4 and a 10. I've been told that they both have big feet for their ages but maybe they're not so big after all... Lol at thread title
FGS try to have an easy day. Look after yourself x
TMH Hello

Morning all love the title yadda but then again i'm an oldie newbie.
Have just returned from the school runs so need to get cracking.Am still having problems with the washer despite lots of good advice on thread yesterday it still isn't sucking out the water .The tumble dryer is on almost constantly and my utility room is just a sea of clothes.
Good luck Gibberish hope they've shown up now.
Right shall stop gassing and go do some housework sigh..

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 10:41

yadda I know....

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 10:43

....I'm not feeling like getting on with it either. So far I have hoovered the hall; moved the rugs from the hall and filled a bucket with hot water ready to mop the hall...
Then I sat back down at the computer and I dan't seem able to get back up again...

Simply · 10/01/2008 10:51

Hello to all. Sorry I've not been around for a few days. For everyone who is having a stressful time in whatever way, good vibes are coming your way!

luda and BC It was lovely to see you both on the w/e. And no, we haven't picked up any bugs, I don't think!

Must dash. I'm due to meet someone for lunch today and it is so wet out, I'm hoping we can postpone it. I'm going to finish the washing up stuff and the laundry and get ready. See you later perhaps!

gibberish · 10/01/2008 10:52

Thanks

Oh well. That was an experience. I am officially a raving nutcase. Made a complete arse of myself. Howled and sobbed about absolutely the most trivial things. They are away thinking I am a psychotic, obsessive freak of nature. Goodness knows what is going to happen. They have to have a team briefing about my 'case' and decide what they are going to do with me.

Got to sort my head out now and gear myself up to getting to comet...

Sorry to moan. I am such an idiot. I am terrified they tell me I'm not fit to HE my girls. Sorry am upset again.

Simply · 10/01/2008 10:52

Hey BC. How about we have a mad half hour and meet back at 11.30?

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 10:56

Gibberish I had no idea you were going through all this. Feel free to chat via facebook if you feel the need x
Good luck at comet

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 10:56

OK, simply see back here at 11.30?

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 10:57

you did already say 11.30
See you then...

gibberish · 10/01/2008 10:58

Thanks bianca

I am truly barking. Only now it's official. Hope the padded cell they give me is nice... they'd better give me access to mn though or they will see how insane I can be

Morning ALL Am having a much happier day than yesterday. I was in a fury because DH had taken DS to school, forgotten his bag, assumed I would just take it to the school as I had nothing better to do...I'd been up since 7, got the three kids sorted, he'd got up at 8, only had to get himself ready and STILL managed to leave DS's bag, which was sitting by the front door, behind.

So I've decided to just do the whole morning/school thing myself from now on. No doubt this is martyrish behaviour but it's better than thinking you can count on DH and ending up in a fury. He's great at what he does, which is earn the money and he is great with the kids, he's just CHAOTIC!

To do:
Mission, letters which I've been putting off, one phone call.

ludaloo · 10/01/2008 11:26

Morning All

I did write a big long post, and then my computer decided Internet Explorer had an error and turned itself off!

Anyway...briefly..

DD2 still ill
DD1 cried this morning...we had to walk in the rain to school as DH has gone to the NEC, and we got to school soaking wet...teacher put her in spare trousers ( I overlooked the wetness of walking 20 mins in the pouring rain)...she then cried as they "made her look silly"
DS got away with it as his waterproof is long, and his wellies are too!

More bedding to wash today, courtesy of DD2,
Going to get cracking, as so far I have eaten crisps and fiddle arsed about on Facebook!

BiancaCastafiore · 10/01/2008 11:39

Oh dear Luda, not a great morning so far then! Hope dd is OK by the time you collect her. I take it ds was happier again today? I hope so

OK, I have now
~mopped hall, kitchen, playroom and utility room
~dusted living room
~sorted 2 sets of dry washing (one lot from td - had dried a tissue in the pocket of some trousers so now have to hoover up all the little bits which I trailed from the td to the kitchen )
~stripped the beds -1st load is in wm

Feeling much more motivated, thanks Simply, hope you've done well too

ludaloo · 10/01/2008 11:44

FGS Take it easy today. I'm also sorry to hear of your awful welsh school experience! Must have been horrible!

Gibberish I'm here too if you need to vent....good luck with comet today xx

janni I don't let dh do morning run either...disaster, they are always late if he takes them.

Hi Bianca and simply ...hope you manage to get stuff done this morning.

Hello to squatchette THM and Yadda too this morning

ludaloo · 10/01/2008 11:51

Oh x posts Bianca

No...DS cried too! I think it was because I hung about too long faffing with DD1. He was ok for a bit, then he decided to cling on to me.

Glad you are motivated now (I do the tissue thing quite often too )
