If so how often and what motivates you to do it?

I did it! Mine was clean on sunday from top to bottom, immaculate, now it's a bit of a mess but in 30mins i can get it back to pretty near perfect!

My house is always clean. I also work 3 days a week and have 3yo DTS. Even when they were babies the house was always clean and tidy.

The key?

DH and I work as a team. He cleans bathroom, kitchen, tidies up all the time and empties out all the bins. He also cooks at weekends.

I also clean kitchen, vacuum whole house once a week, mop once a week, dust when it needs doing, do all washing and ironing twice a week. I cook during the week.

Also, DTS have been trained to put away their things when they have finished using them.

Personally, neither DH or I can exist in chaos.

So glad to see there are so many clean freaks out there. I love it and get a strange sense of satisfaction by everything being in it's place and all clean and tidy. Glass of wine and relax......

Hi Gibberish

I have been reading the backposts of this thread and feeling slightly better because I'm so poor at cleaning and keeping everything in order. I've looked at the FLY lady website and signed up.. I'm going to shine my sink tonight and I already think its going to make a real difference.

Thanks for mentioning it.

Cheers

Divi

yes

not usually, but seeing as DH and the DSs moved out for a while, I am making the most of the opportunity of Spring cleaning from top to bottom.
