Thanks Cinders. These threads really help.

CindersNeedsHelp · 12/10/2007 22:05

No worries. It actually motivates me too, TBH!

Morning all and thanks Cinders.

All week I've had to wake up DS at 7:30am - it's the weekend and he wakes at 6 bleeding 15am.

Not complaining really, according to other threads he could be waking every 2 hours through the night .

Bienchen · 13/10/2007 08:40

Good morning

had to get up twice for DD and at 2:30am just could not go back to sleep. Stayed awake until 4:45 when DP came downstairs to get ready for work, then went back to sleep

DD still sleeping... so have done half of the morning tasks. Am grateful there's no mission today and may leave the 15 min decluttering to DS. House should not get too messy today as we are all out.

Purple - well done for daling with estate agent, response made me smile!

TrinityRhino · 13/10/2007 08:42

what am I supposed to do????

TrinityRhino · 13/10/2007 08:53

I'll just leave then.........

funnypeculiar · 13/10/2007 09:31

Trinty!!! I was going to post today & see if anyone had seen you!
See cinder's links at bottom of thread for jobs for the weekend... or do they not help?

Not a great day yesterday chez peculiar - ds was awake for 3 flipping hours in the night, and then we were all cold-y all day, so bare minimum done only (better than nothing )
And off into london today shopping for a wedding outfit with my sis, so ain't going to be much done today either. Hey ho

purpleturtle · 13/10/2007 10:35

We were woken by crying ds2 at 4 this morning - a very rare occurrence in the turtle household. Turned out he'd got his arm stuck through the cot bars and couldn't move. At least it was easily sorted. Although I think he got back to sleep quicker than I did.

We have managed a much needed lie-in this morning, so we've yet to get dressed , but then I'll see how much I can get done before friends arrive with their 3 children to help mine trash the joint again.

Good to see you, trinity!

bilblio · 13/10/2007 11:03

I knew the sleeping through the night couldn't last. DD woke at 5:00 yesterday morning and 5:30 this morning. She wouldn't settle back in her carrycot either night so ended up in bed with me. On the up side I have now cracked feeding her laid down because both mornings I've been woken again at about 8am by her chewing my tshirt. It's definitely a 12 week growth spurt she'd fed 3 times by 10am.

Morning routine done, going to go and read the missions now and try to get on with them. Even though the "Domestic Pinball" - my Mum is coming up today so every surface will be sparkling by tea time.

purpleturtle · 13/10/2007 13:32

Have now done yesterday's mission, and then promptly scattered crumbs all over the floor making cheese on toast for lunch!

House looks straight enough to receive friends.

Going to go and get a headstart on tea...

CindersNeedsHelp · 13/10/2007 14:11

Sorry that people aren't getting their sleep. My DS still gets limbs stuck in the cot! Hey ho!

Anywany, I have just read testimonial and commandments. I always fall down on commandment number 4!! Anyone else?

OP posts:
SuperMonkey · 13/10/2007 14:46

Oh yes, definitely number 4! Which is probably a good thing, otherwise I would never have met my FLYbaby mates .

I've just made scones .

Only me and DS in the house, do you reckon we (well, I) can get through 13 big scones before anyone else gets home?

unknownrebelbang · 13/10/2007 14:49

guilty as charged.

rofl.

unknownrebelbang · 13/10/2007 14:50

(and no 2 on the rare occasions I don't have to cart the lads around).

...think I'd better stop there, lol.

flowerybeanbag · 13/10/2007 16:05

morning everyone

Aftenoon!

Not doing it properly today, but sink is staying shiny, dressed to shoes etc and have done washing, dishwasher etc, so not too bad.

I just had to come and share with my flybaby mates - the thread I was saying about yesterday where someone was less than appreciative of my efforts - I flounced from it before it got out of hand, and came back out of interest today to see if there were any other posts, and it's gone haywire! Loads of people have joined in telling the OP how ungrateful etc she was!

Just thought I'd share, here is it if anyone wants to have a read....

Hope everyone has a good rest of the weekend anyway - Monkey - get scoffing those scones, Trinity come back, just shine your sink and catch up the rest later!. And hello to everyone else

I haven't read the commandments yet - must go and do that!

flowerybeanbag · 13/10/2007 16:11

oh dear

I am failing badly on number 4...

SuperMonkey · 13/10/2007 16:15

I was chuckling at that thread earlier Flowery, she's getting a really hard time!

systemsaddict · 13/10/2007 21:35

Have just washed up and shined sink - wouldn't have done it without you all ... Can I add my thanks to you Cinders, as without you starting this off and keeping it going my life would have fallen into havoc the past couple of weeks! As it is - semi-havoc but I can see my way out of it.

Hi Trinity, nice to see you! If all else fails just shine the sink, the rest will follow ...

Flowery, looks like MN have deleted that whole thread now - last time I looked at it the OP had Gone Too Far and it was clearly only a matter of time before it went! Think you did right to leave with dignity when you did.

SuperMonkey · 13/10/2007 21:37

I'm so nosy.

flowerybeanbag · 13/10/2007 21:39

rofl Monkey!

systemsaddict · 14/10/2007 07:57

And the pity is that we can't repeat it for fear of getting us deleted! Perhaps we could get away with a safe paraphrase ... she felt people were comparing her unfairly to and suggested ironically she was now off to ... and then, of course, It Kicked Off. Does that help Monkey?

systemsaddict · 14/10/2007 08:00

hope I haven't just broken any MN rules!!

SuperMonkey · 14/10/2007 08:46

Ooh blimey, not surprised it kicked off. I don't suppose she'll be getting much more free advice.

This is really sad, but I'm looking forward to getting started again tomorrow. At the weekends I'm doing my morning and evening routines but I'm not doing any room rescues or decluttering - just making sure things don't get any worse. I'm actually enjoying FLYing. Sorry, I find that really odd. I'm turning into Monica Geller.

Shannaratiger · 14/10/2007 12:04

hello everyone
thanks trinity, didn't realise their was a flybabes thread.

SuperMonkey · 14/10/2007 12:06
