Just has someone out to look at our 2 year old(if that?)Kenwood dishwasher. Its basically knackered. Surely a dishwasher should last longer than that....our last one, didn't last long either. Any recommendations please? We will use it a lot! So I need it to last.

We can see this thread is a little old now so some of the suggestions may be out of date, but if you’ve landed here looking for recommendations, we’ve recently updated our best dishwasher page with plenty of great options, including info on the brands Mumsnet users love. We hope you find it useful. Flowers

Bosch classix, just wish I'd bought a full sized one.

Basic Miele.

I had a Bosch that didn't last. Now I've got a beko and very happy with it. If money was no option I'd get a Miele. I've a Miele hoover and love it.

Had various, Zanussi, Kenwood, not great then Siemens v good but then went for built in as new kitchen. AEG wasn’t impressed replaced with Beko lasted two years, now on a high spec Bosch which had a problem just out of two years guarantee. Had it repaired but next time it will be Miele I think.

We had a Neff in our last house which we had to leave behind. I still miss it!

Cheapest Miele is £600 at JL but ours really good and def worth it.
