Crikey - a second thread! - Thank you very much Lisette [flowers!]
Fantastic meme that with the bear!

That (from previous thread) you are on a roll today

As are you Zoo your list is amazing
And bravo Scoutcat!
And congrats re: ruthlessness in decluttering dept Lane! Needs must!
Spent some wonderful childhood holidays on the Isle of Arran Bower what a shame you aren't there now ... hopefully soon ... that's what I call "proper" wild countryside .... . Hope you find a plumber to finish off bathroom soon too! Not nice to have it hanging! Congrats on your list - glad to see cat still hanging in there - and absolutely love the idea of a hen called Persephone
So lovely to be able to go to the beach KTCluck!
Eek at potential rat Megiddo!
Foxes oh no that all sounds so stressful - especially after all of your cleaning! I really feel for you and Mr Foxes being confronted with leaks and more DIY when everything is already stressful balancing work and childcare and no telly! I hope your day is improving anyway
for now and
for later! Lasagne sounds like the perfect antidote!
If it's any consolation, I spent most of the morning cleaning up the literal fall-out from bird incident last night and found a second young pigeon wandering around in a daze!
Called dh to lock the dogs in and have put it in the rockery under lots of ivy with a bowl of water and a plate of strawberries ... here's hoping it recovers poor thing ... .
You'd think that dd going off on a long bike ride with friends would mean more time for me to get stuff done but not apparently if it involves assessing various t-shirt and short combos, various hair styles, and a lot of tidying up and folding of rejected outfits, ending up with her choosing the very sensible and fine outfit I'd suggested earlier
. She's very excited to be with friends (same group of three) again!
even if they have to sd.
Dh most have absorbed a bit of my venting because he offered to spend his lunch hour sorting the terrace today
and actually asked what he could do to be helpful!
This was a first!
I said that sweeping would be incredibly helpful and moving the four heaviest pots and heavy parasol stand during the process would be great. Apparently in man-speak this translates to: move all the flowers that love sun-shine and are standing on an ornamental table in the sun in the middle of the terrace for a reason, to hideous black metal shelving found in basement and placed along one wall where they will wither and die. Ignore all heavy pots, do not wield a brush, try and fix parasol and break it
and then leave all equipment such as brushes, gloves, rubbish bags strewn everywhere for me to clean up. FFS! If you didn't laugh you would cry!
Still he has apparently fixed my wms ... tentatively trying out a couple of towels in each now ... and watching for smoke ... .
Ta da: (no admin work today - hurrah!)
