I hope you can find the right place fo your dad. I knowhow hard it is (I was a nurse once upon a time, caring for people like your dad and know how rarely places come up in specialist units.)

First day back at school today. I hope everyone else going back (and all the new starters) get on ok
I am back to cake making this morning, and have said I will mov ds into the dds room this afternoon, so dp can start some faily major building work upstairs to give us an extra bedroom.

I will pop in here at lunchtime.....

I'm sorry you have such worries with your father, and hope some solutions fall into place soon x

We have an extra day off today, school here starts back tomorrow. We're planning a picnic at the park followed by a lazy afternoon sorting out school bags and generally getting ready. I have no idea how we'll make it up and out of the house by 8.20 tomorrow morning!

I spent yesterday eve sewing on name labels.

I have a load of washing in the wm, but nothing else is done yet. I'm saving it all now for once the kids are back at school (that's my excuse anyway!)

FGS you made me open the mission link to see what you'd done yesterday I didn't get round to any missions yesterday, but the hallway etc needs some attention...maybe I'll do soemthing about it this afternoon...

DD's temp is up and down. She is very grumpy too I think it might be virus combined with teething. Either way, it sucks.

Morning all

Gosh some of you are up early, posting on here (whilst I am running around panicking about getting the dc out of bed and ready for school)

Will do the mission today. Porch looks nice after yesterday, but any good impression is soon wrecked when you get into the hall. I think it is time to throw out all the summer cardis and sun hats anyway, I was freezing on the school run this morning!

Hello all

Well it is a glorious sunny day...
DD1 woke me up ten minutes to 7! All dressed and ready to go!!!
We walked up to school, then down the hill to drop DS at nursery, then to my DH's work to say hello, then to the shop to buy a donut for DD2 (and me! )
The house is sooooo quiet!! DD2 is pottering around asking me where "boy" is!

I've got a couple of hours to get on and do some FLYing before I have to walk and get DS.

I managed to use our car yesterday, DH has managed to fix it temporarily...but once it goes...it goes! I only need it to feed my friends pets...she lives about 3 or 4 miles away. She's back on saterday.

Well off to make the most of the peace (well semi peace)

Good Morning! Kids are all at school and the younger 3 couldn't wait to get into school!
Don't know about the other child, will hear from him when he gets home.

My to do list:

Make beds
clean the bathroom
tidy the hallways
washing
wash up and dry up the breakfast dishes
general tidy up of kitchen
hoover and dust the front room
general tidy up
tidy the conservatory
sort out tea
ENJOY THE PEACE!

Right I'm off to have a coffee and some breakie and then I had better sort out my house.

Right help me girls, I'm blind. There was a thread on here the other day to do with keeping down the costs of food shopping and there was a sausage pie recipe mentioned in it. I can't find the thread though!

Why won't my children get ready to come out?...I've been asking and asking and asking for over 20 minutes now! You'd think they'd want to come on a picnic....

Hopefully we're off out now, no idea how long we'll be but hope whatever we do the kids come back worn out. I have the start of a headache and am not in the mood for lively kids today!
