I've been and fed friends pets (my neighbour took me up in her car)

Aufish I know the feeling...we have one car which can only be used for emergencys as it has a leaking diesel pump? and the back axle has been bodged back together..
My renault scenic which is sat outside with no tax or insurance...or head gasket! And my DH has a van which has no tax on it...all of which we are too skint to do anything about. It is both DD1's b'day and DS's b'day in 2 weeks time. Its crap isn't it!

Well Ds is back at home...I'm going to go and clean the Guinea's out and put them in the run for a bit...then do a bit more before I walk up to get DD1..

everyone who is starting school today - good luck.

Done so far:
stripped the bed
washed up and shined sink
unloaded and loaded DW
repotted a plant (actually DH did this, but whatever! I claim is as mine!)
wm loaded and wet washing hung up, new load on
wiped kitchen surfaces and cleaned hob
wiped dining room table and underneath
taken DD1 to the Toy Library
swished and swiped bathroom and changed bathroom towel
put pictures from Mac onto a CD to be printed and put in album (our photo album only goes up to last summer and we have no pics of DD2 !)
taken some stuff upstairs that shouldn't have been downstairs (I'll call that tackling a hotspot).

DH's cousin is coming for lunch in a few mins so that should be fun. We're going out so no cooking!

Still to do:
Tidy toys before she gets here!
Mission (today and yesterday).
Decluttering.

Ed is shockingly AOK. He's got a cracking black eye blossoming but he was embarrisingly in fine form when the ambulance dropped us at A&E. run down, and in and out of A&E in 90 mins. He bounces he really does.

He got paramedics, police, an ambulance ride and a stethascope check by a doctor. A big Ed adventure (an Edventure?)

He just wants to play lego starwars and have toast. And be with mummy which is reasurring as it happened on my watch

and he's just said...'he didn't have any brakes did he mummy?'

Yaddah Car was ok. It was a BMW so it didn't crumple. Police said it's a bad junction and it was one of those things. Ed is OK, none the worse for it. I keep hearing that awful thump noise when the car hit him

Kimellajoe welcome to you. Fly lady is good but remember, she obviously lives in Kev Spacey's house in American Beauty and Kelly can be a tad extreme. Mind you it worked for me

Got to take some photo's of the back yard. There are some victorian iron works in it and the local paper are interested!

GO I'm glad Ed is ok. It must have been scary when it happened.

I'm not FLYing today but I have worked really hard. I've moved ds' cot and drawers into dds room, which meant I had to clean and tidy and make space, so I'm shattered now. I have more to do in our room tomorrwo, but last night I did a quick bedtime routine and shined my sink, and it still looks ok. I'm going to do the same tonight.
hippi - we only have two bedrooms (and three children), but our bathroom is huge, so we are turning what is now our room into a box room for dd1, and a small bathroom and the bathroom will become a bedroom for us. DD2 and ds will have to share til we do the loft, but the girls really need to be apart, and I've had enough of sharing with the baby.
The only problem is dp is doing it all after work. He is a builder so he is more than capable, but very slow when it comes to doing stuff around the house. I may well spend the next year moaning about starting it.

GO - what an adventure filled morning, glad to hear your ds is fine.

I have not done any flying today. Went to a friends birthday and dd was horrid. Not sharing, snappy, grumpy, awfully badly behaved. I lost my temper with her on the way home and shouted dreadfully and now feel sooo guilty

So, a crap morning and a messy house and a headache is all I have to show for today.

Oh well, better tomorrow!
