Well done this morning! I've managed to wash my hair and thats about it so far.
Have a good day at work, I'm glad the sun is out, it is dull here...but no rain so that can only be a good thing

Hello to All

Well I forgot it was actually a saterday today! all the days are merging into one now the holidays are here!
Not sure what to do today...dh is working, and DD2 is now full of cold, so we shall see.

scattyspice · 28/07/2007 10:15

Sorry Ludaloo.

AufishFeQueen · 28/07/2007 15:14

Afternoon Girls have a lazy day today as the kids are with their father for the day so am just kicking back and relaxing. As you can see have changed the name again to keep it in line with my chemical symbol obsession. So its Fe, the chemical symbol for iron!

Jas · 28/07/2007 15:26

Very clever Aufish EHM - Check your email. Mr csws has replied to you. I won't be able to go tomorrow DS has diarrhoea now. Not too bad, but can't spread it round anyone else.

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/07/2007 15:27

Like the new name aufish

I am sooo knackered. DD2 up for the day at 4.39am. Had 2 naps of 20 mins but still going strong. How do they do it?

scattyspice · 28/07/2007 15:54

FGS thats a very early start!

Get yourself a little nap.

grouchyoscar · 28/07/2007 17:04

Afternoon ALL

I was dumb F**k stupid last night. Had 5 under 6 year olds playing unattended in the front room while we popped to the neighbours...They emptied everything, took things apart...silly me. I thought they had gone home but...never mind. Nothing broken.

So this morning I had to bottom the front room, pick toys up, put them in the right place and stow them away. I made sure Ed helped (in a fashion)

Then I had to clean up after the other kid in the kitchen. Lots of s&sing

Done
Up with ed
Down to chaos central with laundry
Begin the clean up (took an hour of intense reordering)
Sweep front room
Load DW
Load and run wm
S&S worktops
Put rubbish and recycling out
Make breakfast and serve
Tidy away
Make beds
Get washed and dressed
Go to Leeds to get haircut (1st time in 3.5 years)
Home. disappointed as nothing has been done
Empty dw
Put away
Make my lunch and snack for Ed
Tidy away
Start to reload dw
Empty WM
Bring washing in from line
Load and run TD

The haircut is fantastic. I'm chuffed with that.

Having 1/2 hr me time now

SimplySparkling · 28/07/2007 17:25

I'm going to forget half of this so my apologies in advance.

Thanks for the thread shouldbe.

Jas Sorry you're still not well. I hope you get to be 100% again soon.

EHM I hope Ellie is much better now, and you too. Being upset because little ones are upset is natural but it takes it out of you. Look after yourselves and take it easy today to make up. What am I on about, it's nearly the end of the day! And don't think I haven't worked out that you're on a cut of the life insurance! What's dh offered you, then, 20%? 30%?

luda We spend most of today in town. Managed to get dd new glasses ordered. The trouble is, she has expensive taste! We're looking for a new shower and I think it will turn out to be a new bathroom. I hope my taste doesn't turn out to be expensive, too!

Aufish My pile is growing bigger by the day. Fancy a change of scenery and coming here to do mine? No? Worth a try!

Hello to everyone else. Off to make tea. See you later or tomorrow.

shouldbe · 28/07/2007 17:40

You're welcome simply hope all is well with you and yours
Luda hope your day has been OK...what did you find to do with yourselves?
FGS I hope you've had an easy day after the early start!
Jas shame you'll miss the picnic, hope the bug passes soon. Did you have fun at the farm?
EHM have a great time tomorrow
Grouchy, scatter and Aufish hello

Been to the city centre on a pots and pans mission with DH and DS so coming to this late today...I'm only a beginner at this FLY thing as I said before so on my list this weekend are the following:

Today:

Collect all DS's dribble bibs/muslins, put them through the wash and dry them.

2 loads in washing machine

2 loads from washing machine either in dryer or on clothes airer

Tidy round kitchen, load and run dishwasher (with Fairy Active Bursts - I am a zealous convert to these fab things) and shine my sink!

SUNDAY:

Hoover hall and stairs

Hoover kitchen/diner and clean the wooden floor with appropriate cleaner.

Wipe clean kitchen cupboards, including tops and insides.

Tidy and sort utility room

2 loads of washing and drying

Bake banana bread with the over ripe bananas

Jas · 28/07/2007 18:01

Saturday is "Family Fun Day" according to FL. Have we all had fun???????

I've changed the beds done two loads of washing and watered the tomatoes.
I feel ok now, but ds isn't great. Another bath and an early night tonight for him, then maybe I can tidy up a bit more downstairs.

scattyspice · 28/07/2007 20:03

LOL

FunkyGlassSlipper · 28/07/2007 20:03

agree custy, we all need a break!

SimplySparkling · 28/07/2007 20:17

EHM What's 35% of 100k? I can't be bothered to use the calculator on the desktop nor work it out. It's Saturday! (SS logic here. Others may not get it.) AND you were going to use the money to run off with Derek! Was this before or after you danced on my grave (still fresh) with maracas and booze?

Hi gs.

Jas Not unless you count taking dd to choose new glasses when she has a summer cold and only likes the £100+ designer frames, fun! She settled for a pair costing only £75 total in the end. The last pair were that much or more and her prescription changed now, just 10 mths later! Can keep them as spares, though, and we might re-use the frames from the old ones next time and keep doing that.

Off to play a game with kids before bed. See you tomorrow.

Jas · 28/07/2007 20:28

How can you not know what 35% of 100 is? Or are you joking? I haven't really got a clue what you are on about

My dd doesn't know there are frames you can buy. She has only ever had the choice of free ones, but she is 8 and easily pleased.

EHM · 28/07/2007 21:41

SS what a rat he told me it was % of £1 Million. Do you really think I would dance on your grave for 35% of £100K...You are worth much more than that too me
I've really lost the plot now, I am off to bed folks. Last load in wm & list completed expect 'bed'. Night Night.x.x

EHM · 28/07/2007 21:43

Jas I had free Spec as a teenager they where like the black specs Vic Reeves would wear. Lucky the lo's choices are much nicer now
