Morning
I really should get to bed lol!
I am going to be grumpy in the morning. And I haven't been FLYing either

shouldbe · 29/07/2007 08:40

tortoise Hope you're not too tired this morning! Were you playing isketch all evening?...

What have you been doing tortoise? EHM I had those glasses, too, but in a yukky pale pink. I painted them with red nailvarnish. I still have the frames in the kids dressing up box.

No FLYing for me. I'm having a lazy day, but I will try and get going again properly on Monday.

Sunday is renew the spirit day[yuk] No idea what I am meant to do as a non religious type, so I will lie around and read a book if I can

Well, I am offically FED UP with all the junk in this house today I have had enough of being the only one trying to keep on top of it all (and failing mostly!)
Got up at 6.30 and have cleared a load of hotspots (filing system set up when i cleared the cupboard under the stairs was very helpful, if only I could get out of the habit of letting the hotspots build up in the first place )
Still have lots to do though, the whole house just looks awful today.

The children and I are hoping to get to Sunday club at church this morning, we haven't been for weeks so it'll be nice to catch up with some friends.
Then both children have seperate parties to go to this afternoon so I'll be busy ferrying them around. I'll probably have to stay with ds so that'll be a couple of hours taken out of my day (will be a nice social time though, lots of friends should be there )

Better go and get everyone dressed. Have a good day everyone

See you later x

Hi Jas - renew the spirit day?! Ewww! Sunday is usually a big domestic day for us, taking advantage of dh being at home to help with the kids. I had those NHS glasses too but my mum wouldn't let me have pink - I had blue to "go with my eyes" - was always upset about that, but she was probably right, pink wouldn't have suited me at all.

MORNING FLYBABES!
Thought i'd pop in and say hello as i haven't posted for a while and saw you on active convos.

My Flying is still a bit hit and miss but a lot better than a few months ago.My 2 littleones are off to school and nursery in September so have Big Plans for the house scheduled for then.

Did all my cleaning yesterday so nice lazy day here today just the essentials and it is for once sunny here and not raining yay!I will be gardening later if it stays this way then probably take dds to the park.

Sympathy to all those who had to suffer the National Health specks mine were pink and i had to wear a giant plaster over one of the lenses ,just to add that extra stylish touch.I like to think it was worth it as i haven't worn glasses or contacts since primary school...Well would you after that.

tortoise · 29/07/2007 09:58

Morning all.
I am ok. DDs slept until 8 then they let me dose until 9.30 !
I was chatting on msn.

I have to do some tidying up in the kitchen then i am going to try and get some listing done on ebay!

tortoise · 29/07/2007 09:58

Hi squatt Good to see you

ludaloo · 29/07/2007 10:04

[BIG FAT SIGH EMOTICON]

shouldbe I am joining you in the OFFICALLY FED UP stakes [GRRRR]

Was up all frickin night with DD2 who has a cough, runny nose and a temp.
Woke up at about 4ish and felt very queezy, lay in bed trying not to move incase I was ill. Woke up at about 7 ish and was sick
Closely followed by DS

Today I am buying a very big bottle of bleach and I am clearing EVERYTHING out. I must be missing something I am sure of it. I cannot be cleaning properly!???? I just am at the end of my tether. I always thought I was pretty good at FLYing and being clean and hygenic.

OH IT'S ALL DOOMED !!!!!!!!!!!!

scattyspice · 29/07/2007 10:05

Morning.

Had a better night so should be a better day .

Am loving this FLY thing. Really gets you on top of things eh?

How do we renew the spirit though?

BTW I had blue NHS specs LOL

scattyspice · 29/07/2007 10:06

Poor you Ludaloo.

I catch every bug DCs get.

ludaloo · 29/07/2007 10:06

(Hello to you all BTW ) Hi to squat nice to see you

tortoise · 29/07/2007 10:07

Oh no Luda Poor you and poorly dc. Hope you are all feeling better soon.

ludaloo · 29/07/2007 10:12

scatty I have totted it up on the calender, from when DD1 was first sick (closely followed by the rest of the family) We have been ill for 4 weeks and 5 days
How the frick can this be!? DD1 is currently on anti-biotics, DD2 has been continously ill...either diorreah, sickness, cold, high temp...DS and I are now having a second bout of sickness.
We are all back to the docs next week.

DD2 Is supposed to be having a party next week as she is 2.

[glum emoticon]

tortoise · 29/07/2007 10:17

Wow that is a long time Luda. I hope the Dr can be of some help. I don't think you can blame your cleaning though!

I think mine must have built up immunity with all the mess in my house . We rarely get any bugs that are going round. not sure what it will be like this winter with 3 of them at school to bring bugs home!

ludaloo · 29/07/2007 10:17

Thank you tort [snivel, snivel] I'm sorry to always be moaning on...just want everyone to be well. I will attack the house (even if its not really the house, it makes me feel a bit better)

tortoise · 29/07/2007 10:25

Right, i am going to force myself off this chair and sort the kitchen!

tortoise · 29/07/2007 10:46

DW loaded
work top wiped down

That looks better

shouldbe · 29/07/2007 11:48

Luda hope you're feeling better soon. Look after yourself today, don't over-do the cleaning.

We've been to church. I think the kids had fun but I felt like a bit of an outsider today, don't know why, maybe just because I'm having a down day.
I need to get on with the house but am running out of time today already. By the time we've had lunch it'll be party time and by the time we're all home from the parties it'll be bath/bedtime then I'll be too tired to do anything else! I'll wake up tomorrow to even more mess and feel even more

OP posts:
tortoise · 29/07/2007 12:15

Awww shoulbe (((( hugs ))))
It will be ok. Don't worry about it all for today and plough on with it tomorrow. Get the DC helping

grouchyoscar · 29/07/2007 12:29

Happy Sunday Afternoon (I'd rather it was lazy). It's sunny here (at last) and it makes me feel better

Done so far
Up, washed and dressed

Organise ironing pile (find missing bra and pants )
Downstairs with laundry
Empty WM and reload and run
Peg out yesterday's wash
Make and eat brekkie
Text and call friends.
Load DW
Empty wm
Peg out
Sweep downstairs
Mop front room
Do the cat litter

Heave 4 carrier bags of soiled litter out of the now 'clean' cellar and dump in grey bin
Make Ed's bed and draw curtains
Beat door mat om out door floor

Mop kitchen and pour mop bucket water down drain

Stop due to wobbly legs

To do

Check washing as it dries
Clean out snails (Chocolate is getting so big)
Vac staircase and landing
Vac bathroom
Vac our bedroom
Clean bedroom window
Move plants to sunnier positions
Go get BBQ stuff from Tesco
Put dry washing away
Do the ironing and put away

DH back at work tomorrow. I'll miss him

shouldbe · 29/07/2007 12:51

It's not OK tort, it's all awful dd has just pushed me to my limit and I've literally had to drag her to her room kick and screaming in an attempt to make her (and me) have time to calm down
I'm an awful mother
I'm an awful wife
I have nothing decent to give anyone for lunch, and can't bring myself to sit round playing happy families anyway
The house is looking awful
There's sooo much washing and ironing to do
The bathroom is dirty
The spare room was never finished from a week or two ago
There are papers shoved in cupboards everywhere and I have no idea what they are
You can hardly open the door to the utility room
I could go on, but you get the picture
