I won't be around for the next few days. It's DH's 40th tomorrow and he's taking a long weekend. I'll pop back when I can but I thought I'd make myself useful and start the thread.

So I hope you all have a good few days, that sick los get well soon and you have great weekends

collected and took out rubbish
hoovered and dusted my bedroom
put all my washing away

didnt think id done much but when its written down it seems like iv done something this morning as well as sort dd who is undoing my hard work faster than me might give her a cloth lol

Just got back from dropping girls at swimming pool and little ones are at their friend's playing so PEACE AND QUIET! Going to have a cuppa then tackle upstairs.

You are doing fine meandmy You've already done a lot in the house and your little one will remember you playing with her when she is older, not how tidy your house was!

That's not an excuse though - you can tidy AND play - we women are excellent at multitasking

filled sink ready to wash dishes

The baby is not himself today, he got his first tooth last week , didnt suffer much with it at all but I can see anohter poking through and hes whingy today so Im struggling. DS is in his room "cleaning" But DP took the car to work today so I dont have to rush out at 5.

Still to do:

last week my grandad visited asked me when i was moving

i have had workmen in as they council doing up the houses so everything was boxed up apart from the toys (enough to supply the elc)

back from lunch with dh which was very nice. I think the late sleep for dd this morning maybe an indicating that she is coming dowm with something...arrrrrrrrrrrgh not again
woke at 740, back to sleep at 11 for 1 hour, now been sleeping for the last 15 mins. Also wasn't her usual self initially when we met dh.

no just thought dd has MMR on Friday. Should I check with dr first if she is out of sorts. Or is it only if she has temp?

Julez the girls are looking much better thankyou ...and congrats on the first word! My Ds and DD2 both said Dadada first...DD1 said "light"!! (very peculiar)closely followed by "spider" and "mardy"!

The pre-school farewell to ds was sweet (and I did shed a tear or two)
I've had a rubbish afternoon since then~
~dd came out of school and promptly fell over, lots of crying (drama queen I fear...)
~got home then realised dd ad forgotten her lunch box so had to race back to school to collect it
~got home again, remembered ds and I had a haircut appt this afternoon
~hairdresser came, gave me haircut (that I don't like)
~ds screamed and refused to have his haircut
~realised I had no means of paying hairdresser she agreed I could post her a cheque (when I find my cheque book ) and left
~ds realised hairdresser had gone and he'd missed his chance for a haircut (and the lolly bribe that goes with it)and started screaming again cos he did want his haircut after all
~dd dropped her hama bead creation before I'd ironed it so she starts screaming too
~ds in a temper throws a (empty) basket at me catching me quite badly on my head
~everyone, including me, in tears
~group hug
~everyone calms down for about 2minutes
~ds plays with his trains then realises Emily's tender is missing and dd must have it (so he says) and all hell breaks loose again

I've spilt them up now - ds is now happily playing with the trains despite the missing tender and dd is helping me to run them an early bath. So it'll be nice long, deep, calming bath; then supper; then early bedtime.

Then I just need to hope for better tomorrow

I have just been up there and it is reletively tidy and clutter free but could do with a bit of a blast.

Oh dear shouldbe. Tomorrow can only get better eh?

I had an almighty row with dh this morning about my non existent kitchen. Tried to calmly ask if there was any chance of something being done to it some time this week and got my head taken off. So fed up with it now. Am going to get someone in to finish it. He is SO grumpy at the moment

shouldbe I do have to smile a little at your afternoons events....they are very very similar to the ludaloo household events, its untrue!
