So DD3 is having a party on Friday! I need to have at least the downstairs tidy. My utility room and downstairs loo have to be decluttered.

Load washer ready for the morning

Hey all,

Not done much housework over the weekend. I never do, I try and keep housework to a minimum over the weekend. So just the bare essentials today.

washed up dishes
anti bac'd kitchen surfaces
stripped beds and chucked in the wash
re-made beds
bleached both loos
anti bac'd bathroom basins
done second washing load
put washing outside to dry
cooked tea
washed up dishes (again)

Evening list is done. I’m at work for 8am tomorrow so before I leave I need to:

Make my bed and dd3’s (the others will still be asleep when I leave
Feed cats
Switch on washing machine
Make my lunch for work

Easter hols over, back to normality tomorrow

Decided not to go shopping today as I can't really manage to buy a curtain rail while shopping with a buggy . List instead:

Such a disaster today, did nothing bar feed everyone and wash up after it! Hoping for major improvement tomorrow

Yesterday was similar for me @cikecaka; I spent the afternoon curled up in front of the fire with an Easter egg and a book .
I'm still feeling very tired today; wondering if I have a bug or something.

I think we were all in the same boat yesterday from the sounds of it. All I did from my list was the shopping and bathing dd. So far today I have:

Unloaded dishwasher ✅
Cleaned kitchen ✅
Bleached litter tray ✅
Made and cleared up after breakfast ✅
Booked and eye test for ds ✅
Hoovered downstairs ✅
Tidied and dusted living room ✅
2 loads of laundry ✅
Been to the cash machine ✅
Folded and put away all clean washing ✅

I’m at work at 1pm so before I go I need to:

Make and clear up after lunch
Take dd3 to Nursery
Tidy beds
Make eldest dc tidy their bedrooms
Book a waxing appt

I also need to remember to print off some forms ds needs for his navy interview whilst I’m at work.

And lots of childcare and distraction so DH got some DIY and gardening done, very pleased with that ✅
