Hello NUT and one and all!

I'm sitting here trying to eat a quick lunch (is that the time?!) whilst watching the snooker (just started - lovely - might iron whilst watching) and MNing.

I've done a couple more jobs since this morning:-
~ fetch dd from school, take to doctor and return to school
~ same but with ds
~ food shopping - and then put away
~ put washing on line

To do:-
~ I've a few things to sort out/return. Will try to find them to take and do. will do tomorrow when next in town
~ cook joint for tea
~ ironing
~ tidying up
~ put away clothes ironed 2 days ago
~ finish putting away d/w stuff
~ last thing tonight - put the showercap in the shower so I don't wash my hair first thing tomorrow, forgetting my colour and cut booked for lunchtime
~ fetch ds from after school activity
~ walk the dog
~ ring company about the return that they haven't replied to me about.

Right. Must eat lunch now. Then will get ironing after ringing that company. See you later. Will see how much I can get done by 4pm.

Hmmmm...trying to find dh a pressie. It is his birthday on 6th May. I've ordered him a CD but now I am stuck....

DD2 is still asleep so I can't hoover yet, but will as soon as she wakes. Then I am pretty much done for the day. Will walk to get DD1 and go to the park for a bit me thinks

Sooo many recipes now Thank you I will have to print this page off and get baking Just bought some number cutters so I'm planning to make some number 6 cookies ...and have just realised I forgot hundreds and thousands for decorating - grrr...will have to hope the village shop have some.
Ds is asleep in the car so I shouldbe unpacking the supermarket shopping...would rather have a sit down first though.....

Luda I find pressies for dh really difficult too....so no help from me! Sorry, hope you find something x

I havent done much today but am planning on having a cleaning spurt when I get home with the kids later.

I have done:

2 loads of washing
hung out to dry
sorting clothes
sorting recycling ready in car to take
bins
washing up x2
looking after dd
5 mile run

SO although I feel lazy I really havent been. That is why this is good because sometimes we think we havent done anything when really we have done loads.

thanks l/m have to go to shops get some and milk. guy is coming to drop our car back thank God as to have 4 doors again and a seat that works to go back and a big boot again. so sort of stuck until he comes plus it is raining.

luda I have a suggestion for dh's birthday. At the top of town there is a shop (on Bridge Street?) which does hand painting of crockery or somesuch. I've not been there but I've been to somewhere similar a few miles down the road from where I live in the seaside village. I went with dd for her b/d and painted a boat on a mug for dh's b/d. I don't know how expensive they are but you could call in and ask.

hi everyone, iv been lounging today, dont quite feel right, but managed to get washing up done and get into town to get the fruit and veg from the market!

wont be back on tomo as off visiting my auntie but will see you all next week and will hopefully be back in full force!

Evening all, not done alot off my list except my ironing.

Have though got my dd organised for her school trip. Since collecting the kids from school I've been into town with dd to get a waterproof jacket and all her toiletries and other bits and pieces for the trip. Not long got back and put the tea on, washed the lunchboxes and sorted them out again and put the school uniform in for a wash.

Must go now as tea is ready and I have 4 hungry kids waiting to be fed, will be back later.

I've had various commitments this afternoon, so need to now do the following
1)clear kitchen 2)wash very sticky kitchen floor 3)hang laundry 4) DS1 bath 5) DS2 reading

Well everything is done and dusted with for the day and for tomorrow. Will not have a list tomorrow as I have my kids sports day so I will be out first thing in the morning for the juniors lot and then come back here for an hour and then I will be out again for my little one's second sports day. Have a good evening and I will be back on Saturday.
