Well I can highly recommend Borax and white vinigar to get rid of limescale in the loo!
As for the vinigar and water and newspaper for the windows...I wasn't that impressed TBH. I switched to good old windolene. I would use it if I didn't have anything else...but you do have to work twice as hard to get it to sparkle and when you are reaching up it does my arms in!! (doesn't smell too good either really)
Shouldbe I have a really yummy biscuit recipe...they come out like cookies if you switch plain for s.raising flour. If you add chocolate M&M's to the mix they are a real hit with the kids!
- 4oz Butter/Marg
- 2oz Sugar
- 6oz Plain flour (but I use s.raising)
- Choc chips to add to mix (I use M&M's)
Cream Butter and sugar
Add flour
Mix into a dough, add choc if desired (although they are yummy plain too) roll out and cut into shapes.
Place shapes on to baking tray
Cook for approx 15 mins @ 150 oC
Beware...they go mega crispy if you leave them in too long. The edges need to just go golden...undercooked is better than overcooked as they harden when cooling.
(These are the biscuits I bought with me when we met by the way...but I had used Plain flour then...s.raising makes them lighter and they crack on the top like cookies...they spread out in the oven too...so don't place them too close)
