Well, I'm up and starting this off for the day, though will not be doing much today as I have a good friend over for most of the day. So just the basics for me today. Happy Flying ladies!

Well, my bedroom is much improved I have cheated and just shoved clothes in the wardrobe (will need to neaten them up later or another day) but at least the room looks better and I feel when I walk in.
The spare room has some boxes of clutter back in but isn't as bad as it was - I'll return to it another day too
Going to have lunch next and then collect ds.

Ahhh well done shouldbe its nice to walk into a tidy bedroom...calms the mind

tort sorry just seen your post about scan. Is there a friend that could either go with you to watch dd's during your appointment, or watch dd's for you?

tortoise good luck at your scan, I have gall stones (awaiting an operation) and the attacks are horribly painful.

I had an gall stone attack yesterday and so there is NO FLYing happening in this house today Hopefully I feel better tomorrow.

Really had better go and collect ds now (decided to take the car - it is raining...)

Have hoovered downstairs....off to tidy DS's bedroom...his bed comes tommorrow between 7.30am and 1.30pm ...so must hoover thoroughly and clear a space

Hamster will have to wait til tomorrow I think...that takes super strength will power!

Thanks BabiesEverywhere. I am not if i have them yet or not but the attacks are very painful. But i am normally ok by the next day. Seems to be ok as long as i don't eat lots of fatty stuff. Which has helped me lose some weight! Lots to go though!

Hello everyone not much being done here today as I am having a trek and a half chasing kids around who have left everything, in between trying to wash up and get washing done and a podcast.

Where is this thread? I will chase it as it sounds funny.

Feel much better now just exhausted and when you're tired everything seems ten times worse. plus i am self-employed and no work means no money. but hey if your wee ones poorly all they want is their mummy and I would do no good for worrrying about her anyway.

dr has given her some antibiotic and says ok to send her to school tomorrow if she feels p to it and then bring her back fri to make sure it has all cleared up.

You are all so lovely and supportive on here. I'llnever be off mumsnet when he goes.

londonmamma/ehm/tort/mhami no it is not his first away. christmas before last he was in afhanistan he has missed d/d 1st and 3rd birthday with being a way. and this time d/d birthday is week-end before he goes. he will miss d/d number 2 4th birhtday in july.

but enough sads and feeling sorry for myself.

tort I had my gallbladder removed years ago now and before kids. Once out I ahd no more problems! Hurrah. Hope the scan is ok. They didnt find mine until I turned yellow.

Have found thread now and posted in my spare moments after lunch whilst twiddling my fingers and wondering what to do next!
