Morning Jelley

tigerschick · 13/04/2007 07:50

Hi, I'm relatively new to 'flying' but just wanted to say that I can't believe how much difference it seems to be making! Just 15 mins doing jobs that always get forgotten! I'm so glad I wondered what the thread title meant!

Jelley · 13/04/2007 07:54

Morning shouldbe. That was quick...were you waiting for me I would've started earlier, but I read yesterdays thread first.

Ludaloo I hope bedtime went ok last night. I'm looking forward to not having ds in our room.

EHM You are a total star for the personal responses It's alot to keep up with and you have my admiration for managing as often as you do.

Well I've forgotten everything else I wanted to say, so I will do a little list and try and come back later.

mop kitchen floor
washing x2
wash up
s& s bathroom
mission
Post Office
Bank
buy milk
cut grass
clean fish tank (no chance of doing it today, bt will keep a list going til it is done again)

Morning

Thanks for asking Jelley Bedtime went well
DS went straight to sleep in his own room, I sat in the girls room on the bean bag and sang nursery rhymes! DD2 was very figety and kept sitting up to point at DD1!! After about 20 mins she was fast asleep. DH was working late, so I got into bed and read my book!! It was strange!!!!

DD2 woke twice and cried each time so I ended up climbing in with her....just to stop her waking the other two. I'm hoping she will get used to it, and not wake so often in the night.

My list today:

D/W
W/M
General Tidy
Baking
Find kids coats and bags ready for school and give them a wash

Can't think of anything else at the mo

Weather is nice again so hopefully be out at some point too

ludaloo · 13/04/2007 08:14

Have remembered I also need to order kids some shoes and try to find a nice swimsuit for dd (once you get over age 5 they all get a bit too grown-up I feel - unless you can afford Boden..!)

glassslipper · 13/04/2007 08:49

morning all.

boiler being serviced sometime today so have to stay in and keep dd1 entertained.

shouldbe - i got a gorgeous swimsuit for DD1 (3-4) in asda the other day. they did have older ones. the one i got was green with a frill around the tummy and little red cherries all over it.

EHM · 13/04/2007 09:07

shoulbe Matalan have nice swimsuits, so do Boots. Thanks, glad Ellie is on the mend
Hi glassslipper Hope you don't have to wait too long for the boiler man.

Londonmamma · 13/04/2007 09:14

Hi all, never done FLY before, but need something to keep me from procrastinating on the rest of MN so I will NOT come back on until I have 1) packed the kids clothes for trip away, leaving today 2) made them breakfast 3)done baths 4)got myself dressed. Let's see if Fly can help me!!

shouldbe · 13/04/2007 09:22

Good Luck Londonmamma
EHM no Matalan nearby and the closest Boots is 16miles away

Have also remembered that i need to deliver some letter for pre-school (should have been done at beginning of the week )...the day is becoming a nightmare...only just out of the bath, started the day well but it's all mounting up again now

EHM · 13/04/2007 09:33

londonmama good luck with flying. Hope you are going away to somewhere fabby?
shouldbe what size do you require for dd, I can have a look at our Matalan & post to you?

shouldbe · 13/04/2007 09:40

Thanks EHM she's very long-bodied so I think she'd be age 7...not sure though. I'll have a good browse online and email you if I'm unsuccessful
