Cleaning thread?

Do we have a daily cleaning thread running at the moment? I used to be on one a while ago which really helped me keep on top of all the housework so I'm wondering if anybody fancies starting it up again? We used to write a list of all chores that needed doing that day then tick them off as we did them. Seeing other people being productive spurred me on to get my jobs done instead of sitting playing on my phone instead. Is anybody up for that?

He got them yesterday will, he did really well and got the grades needed to go to the college he wants. With the new grading he got the equivalent of 3 A's, 5 B's and a C! I'm super proud of him.

I didn't do all of my evening list, I couldn't be bothered, I made my tea and that's it. Dh has done the dishwasher and folded the washing, the rest can wait til the morning.

Also, wine is more important than cleaning so drink up! I'll be finishing the bottle of prosecco I opened last night later so cheers! 🥂

Washing machine on (there's not quite a full load)
Put clean clothes away
Wipe downstairs toilet round
Sweep kitchen

I am not planning anything for tomorrow other than decorating her cake. Dh has the virus now so just hoping I get time to do it! Though he has plans with the lads tomorrow night so that will probably perk him right up! 😂

Anyone joining me for a sunday cleaning mission today? We've been out most of friday and saturday so the house is looking a bit rough around the edges here today

I spent yesterday zombiefied due to terrible sleeping dc4 and i did fuck all. It really was qn everyone fed no one dead kinda day! Had 6 hours sleep last night though so feeling fresh-ish!

Right so I've had an incredibly busy weekend and only managed the basic (dishwasher and clothes washing!)
Tomorrow I need to:
Do handwashing
Dishwasher
Put clean washing away
Make sure my clothes are clean and ready for work on Tuesday
Go to get dd1's school shoes (starts nursery school in a coupe of weeks and they have to wear uniform)
Return some pjs bought for her birthday and get her something else from m&s.

Hi everybody! I'm back again today as I've done nothing apart from the basics since Friday. My list for today is:

• washing (probably a couple of loads)
• empty dishwasher and re-load
• wipe down kitchen worktops
• Hoover throughout downstairs
• tidy my bedroom
• empty and bleach litter tray
• tidy living room
• dust living room
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
• fold and put away clean washing
• iron work clothes for tomorrow

I'll see how I get on with that and maybe add some more later.

Hi Kim, same here, we've been out and about all day everyday since Friday so we are just chilling around the house today.

Gonna hoover downstairs this afternoon and the living room needs a once over with the duster and polish.

Tomorrow I am starting work so pretty much won't be doing much just:

Clothes washing
Putting away clean clothes
Might try and brush and mop floors depends how tired I am!

I've been busy too Beaver, just haven't posted. We've got the professional cleaners coming any time from now today to start the clear up after the kitchen fire so today I'm already up, showered and dressed, the dc have eaten, the dishwasher has been emptied and re-loaded, washer is on, beds made and curtains open and I've hoovered the kitchen and cleaned the litter tray.

Still to do:

• hang out clean washing
• shower and dress the 3 year old
• dry my hair
• feed cats
• put chicken in slow cooker

I'm taking the dc for a day out at the zoo around 10am to get them out of the cleaner's way but will be back later with my evening list.

Hi everyone. We're back from the zoo and bloody shattered! Tea is currently cooking so tonight's list is:

• finish making tea
• clear up kitchen and put dishwasher on
• feed cats
• handwash stuff that can't go into dryer
• empty waste food caddy
• put washing in dryer
• put car seat/pram, etc back into the car (went in sister's car)
• load washer ready for the morning

After that I plan on flaking out on the sofa for the rest of the day!

Morning all. I'm up and moving already this morning as the clean up guys are here early again today. I have:

• cleaned out litter tray
• emptied dishwasher and started to re-load
• turned the washer on

Still to do today:

• fold and put away clean washing
• another 1-2 loads of washing
• iron work and nursery clothes for tomorrow
• go to the shop for something doe tea
• clean both bathrooms
• Hoover bedrooms, stairs and landing
• change standing order for nursery (dd is 3 now so funded hours kick in from next week - yay!)
• pay dd2's breakfast club fees

Blitzing the bathroom is on my list today. I will need to nip to the shop on my way back from the park with ds this morning though to stock up on some bleach. Millions of bathroom germs will die.

Got most things done yesterday but had a tricky afternoon with DD who seems to have injured her eye somehow so spent yesterday afternoon intermittently crying about it and needing lots of cuddles. Off to the GP to get it checked out this morning because it still looks very angry.

Hi everyone!

First week in work finished and off with the girls today. Feeling monumentally lazy though! Only done basics whilst in work so today I need to:
Put on washing (probably at least 2 loads)
Put away washing (there's tons!)
Do weekly shop done
Walk dog

Dd2 has just gone for nap so I should be able to get cracking as the big one is no trouble. I just need motivation!
