luda do you put anything on your microfibre when you use it?? like water, cleaning stuff etc

as usually i can do it with it dry but dd has taken to snogging things (windows tv mirrors ) and it doesnt seem to come off with the dry cloth! was wondering what others do!

well i have done:

1 load of washing
all up washed dressed
1 load into tumble
2nd load of washing including nappies
washing up 2 rounds
taken rubbish out

still to do:
washing up 2 more rounds (3 days worth altogether! )
sort fold put away 1st load
tumble 2nd load
sort fold put away 2nd load
sort fold put away the 2 loads from yest and day before
declutter living room for 15 minutes
read and do mission
s+s bathroom and kitchen
5 min room rescue for dds room again!

and i think thats it! phew!

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 12:25

I run it under the hot tap, then squeeze it out untill nothing more can squeeze out. It is brilliant!! They go in the washing machine every now and then for a clean.

staceym11 · 29/03/2007 12:49

cool will try, cold water wasnt doing a lot!

Jelley · 29/03/2007 13:03

Another busy day here, just wanted to send a (((hug))) to shouldbe. I hope you can find a way to stop this affecting your life

tortoise · 29/03/2007 13:11

((((( Hugs shouldbe )))))

Hi again all.
DD's at contact with xp2 so i have some time on my own now! Front room needs tidying.

DD1's new bed due tomorrow after 12. Yipee!

Lots of good lists today.

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 13:22

I have done the bathroom!!! (I have been putting it off for days) DD1 and DS did the bath...DD2 played in the sink. Bath, sink and loo all clean, and I actually dusted the curtain rail top and the light shade. Needs a good vacumm now to get rid of all the dust on the skirts and in the corners.

Off to vacumm

tort I was thinking about your DD's new bed earlier, I had to ring and inquire about the arrival date of my DS's new bed.....11th April!!!! Its taking AGES!!!

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 13:24

I like checking how long it has been since my last post...then I know how long it takes to do certain things...the bathroom has taken best part of an hour!!!!!! It doesn't seem that long when you are doing it!

tortoise · 29/03/2007 13:26

Ooooh forgot to add Invites came today for DS1's party. I booked a party for 12 children (2 of them being my DS's!) How many invites do you think they sent?

Well done luda

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 13:38

12?? 10?

BabiesEverywhere · 29/03/2007 13:46

Today tasks are :-
: Food Shopping Done
: Find Steam Cleaner (and find somewhere to put it so I don't lose it again)
: Ironing which I didn't finish yesterday Started
: Hotspots to work on, the corner of our bedroom.

Any ideas on making myself do the ironing ?

Glad I went shopping, I bought a lovely bathroom tiday for shampoo bottles and a laundary basket for the kitchen (next to the washing machine.

BabiesEverywhere · 29/03/2007 13:47

I am guessing 5 invites

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 13:51

babies put a good video/dvd on, and iron in front of the tv, it'll take your mind off it

shouldbe · 29/03/2007 14:02

Hello again

Have had a lazy morning and done nothing at all...collected ds and we went to a nearby town to try to get dd into swimming lessons but they're booked up so we've joined a waiting list. I have however booked her into a fun day for one day over the holidays - looks quite fun but couldn't find a friend to go with her...hope she'll be OK - I'm going to approach a couple of mums at school in case they would like to go with her Ds is now alseep in the car but I'll need to wake him in a minute cos he hasn't had lunch yet and before we know it it'll be time to collect dd from school again!

How many invites then Tort.....??

tortoise · 29/03/2007 14:11

OK They sent 8 invites!!
I have had to use two of the scrappy ones i printed yesterday. Took them into school this morning so he should of been given them by now. I will be having words before the party!!

shouldbe · 29/03/2007 14:20

I think I'd be inclined to ring them and complain now tort - it's just not good enough (and I'm braver at complaining over the phone!)

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 14:22

8?? oh dear!! How crap is that!!!!

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 14:25

The fun day sounds good shouldbe I'mm in town tomorrow, to do a food shop, and i'm going to the leisure centre to see swimming times for the hols, I promised I'd take them all.

shouldbe · 29/03/2007 14:31

I'm sure dd will love the fun day - it's art and crafts, sport, roller skating and more . I hope to be able to take both her and ds swimming over the holidays too - dd loves swimming (although she's getting frustrated that she can't quite swim on her own - hence me needing to get her some lessons) but ds doesn't like the water at all so we need to work on building his confidence.

ludaloo · 29/03/2007 14:35

gosh, your two sound just like mine!!

Dd1 can swim with armbands, and would love to swim on her own.
Ds hates it!!! If it is a pool that doesn't have a slope going down to it i.e, you can walk gradually in to the water, he refuses to go in. There is a pool 15mins drive from our village, but it is just a square pool, no way to gradually walk in, so we have to go all the way into town, where they have a toddler pool, with steps and a slope going down into the water. He is then very happy to paddle!!!!!
DD2 hates it too...but she is ok if she glings to me for dear life!!!!

shouldbe · 29/03/2007 14:40

lol! Very similar then I used to take dd swimming every week from when she was about 3mths old till ds arrived when dd was just 2 - so it's no wonder she's always enjoyed it Ds has hardly been swimming and does the clinging on for dear life thing too

tortoise · 29/03/2007 14:41

You are probably right shouldbe! I might do tomorrow! >

Its getting very chilly here. And im not getting much done. Spent the last 20 mins on the phone to my sol discussing court stuff!

DD's will be home in under an hour now too!

I will be able to take all mine swimming after Oct 10th when DS2 will be 8. Can't take more than 2 under 8 with one adult.

shouldbe · 29/03/2007 14:42

Better go and get ds ready to collect dd from school - I'm cheating today and taking the car I'm looking forward to some lazy days over the holidays, but know the kid'll drive me crazy by the end!

tortoise · 29/03/2007 15:23

Front room is tidy now. Got side tracked by the TD and WM inbetween though. Does anyone else do that? All i did was walk into the kitchen to put some rubbish in the bin then find myself emptying WM and TD to put more washing on! Then had to take dry stuff off the airer to put non tumble dryable wet stuff on it! But at least i finished the front room too.

BabiesEverywhere · 29/03/2007 15:46

ludaloo Good idea, I just need my LO to have a nap and I'll make myself do it

tortoise Do you want ME to ring for you. I'm on restrictive low fat diet ATM and I'm in an evil mood and ready to shout at someone...FFS how difficult is it to match numbers with invites !?!

tortoise · 29/03/2007 15:47

Lol BabiesEverywhere. i wish i was good at complaining! I will try and work myself upto it tomorrow!
