Here are the baby steps for all new FLY babies. The first (and only one I ever really did) is to shine your sink

Yaddah I hope the funeral is ok.

Enjoy your evening shouldbe.
Im off for a bath. Better get to bed a bit earlier. Drs at 9am.

learningtoglide · 25/03/2007 22:51

Well I can't possibly catch up with all of this thread but just in case anyone else is still up and flying - I'm just off to do my before-bed routine. What I need to do is get three lots of clothes ready, two bags ready, sweep a floor, do something to each of three hotspots, and reboot washing up and laundry. I'm very tempted to leave it and go straight to bed, but tomorrow's going to be really busy here, so here goes - going to see if I can do it all (not done that for weeks!), and will post back here if I succeed.

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 22:55

Good luck.

tortoise · 25/03/2007 22:58

Good luck!
Does all that really need to be done before bed...
I mean i understand clothes and bags but the rest??

learningtoglide · 26/03/2007 00:07

Well I wouldn't normally start it this late - it's more of an evening routine - and also for things like the floor-sweeping, hotspots, and washing and laundry rebooting I work on the principle of doing a tiny bit to each thing, it doesn't matter how small, so long as I do something. So tonight because I've started so late I only swept the easy to reach bits of floor (a 1 min job!), the laundry reboot was just collecting a few things off radiators and moving them to the ironing pile, I only tidied/moved one or two things per hotspot, and so on. That seems to work for me better than doing more for each thing but less often, or doing absolutely nothing - it really makes me feel better about tomorrow doing something even if it's absolutely trivial.
