Here are the baby steps for all new FLY babies. The first (and only one I ever really did) is to shine your sink

Hello to all. I've read through the thread but can't remember much!

To do list:-
~ shower and dress (whoops!)
~ do washing up in kitchen
~ get washing in from line
~ put washing currently in machine on line
~ sort out and put in the appropriate b/rooms the ironing I did last night
~ think of what to have for lunch. It is going to be roast lamb for tea.

luda Choc nests sound very nice. Do you put little choc eggs in them and a fluffy chick?

DandK Aha. A new name! I must do mine. Keep umming and ahhing about what to choose.

tort I hope your dd feels much better soon.

Hello to Jelley, to shouldbe, to grouchyoscar to glassslippers, to McDreamy, to glitterfairy and musicalbox. I hope I haven't missed anyone out.

tortoise · 25/03/2007 11:50

hi dan4han.
No tips bacause i can never keep it tidy here! But i do know that if i always put things back where i found them that would help!
Make sure to declutter first if you need too! And yes small bits at a time are best!

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 11:51

Thanks tortoise. I have always been an untidy person so it doesn't come naturally to me.

tortoise · 25/03/2007 11:55

Me too! My Dad was always on at me to tidy my room! Was never good enough though.

DombieAndKit · 25/03/2007 12:17

Welcome dan4han tort sorry to hear your lo is still in pain.Ellie sends her a big hug{{{hug}}}(i do too, to you both)
sparklingwill you go back to your original name. I think I may not sure, was thinking about 'madamsleepsMoreandMore' or 'sleeplessinstalbans' or back to my original of EllieHsMum.

Well off to try & give Ellie her lunch, she has just laid & palyed on her mat this morning. Between cuddles from me & being covered in fresh batches of cream.

Ta Ta for now EHM

shouldbe · 25/03/2007 12:25

I think you should just be EHM, EHM life is sooo much easier that way!

shouldbe · 25/03/2007 12:29

ohh - Hello and welcome dan4han Good to have you on-board I'm another who doesn't find tidyness comes naturally...I do try really hard and love it when the house is tidy, just never seem to be able to maintain it!

DombieAndKit · 25/03/2007 12:47

Well I agreed shouldbe I'll try & change now

EHM · 25/03/2007 12:50

tortoise · 25/03/2007 13:14

Very good EHM!
Good news! Put DD1's arm in a sling to go to town and gave her calpol. We just got home and she is moving it fine without pain. Hope it stays ok now!

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 13:32

Hello all!!

I have done kitchen. Lifted everything and dettoled the floor, again as my cat poo'd on it.

Bathroom got rid of alode of clutter and dettoled that floor too.

My shoe rack that's in the smallest of hallways just abuot fits me in between doors to bathroom , kitchen and living room. I have a downstaires bathroom. It's a very small house so i have way too much clutter in it. I am trying to unclutter as i tidy.

I am determind to do all house today. Just having lunch though so more dishes to wash!!

HOpe everyone else is doing well.

tortoise · 25/03/2007 13:34

Great startDan4Han, welldone.
Your house can't be too bad if it can be done in a day! My childrens bedrooms would take up most of the day and the DD's would be pulling it out behind me!

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 13:37

Haven't looked upstaires really, but I've got to do it. I'm being very ruthless tbh, and chucking out alot of stuff that's been hanging around. I'll also get dp to help me when he's awake. He's been to work at 7am and has man flu. Incase you think he's a lazy arse. lol.

Getting kids to help with their room as i am so sick of the mess they create.

I would like to get it tidy for the start of the week and hopefully keep it like it, and i never do but you never know. lol

tortoise · 25/03/2007 13:47

Well good luck.
I need to do DD's room for DD1's new bed coming Friday.

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 13:49

ooo how lovely!!

grouchyoscar · 25/03/2007 14:06

Welcome Dan4Han you're going great guns, just a little each time. It's nice to know there is another with an incontinent cat!

Dombie&Kitt Hello, thought I had the monopoly on Sesame St names Hope Ellie is perking up.

Walk to paper shop to get a Sunday Telegraph
Cart it back home (bloody hell, your suposed to read that in 1 day? It was blimming huge - I only wanted a cd!)
Play with DS
Have breakfast - help DS make fry up sandwiches!
DS hs a wee accident
Strip him off and send him for a shower
Brush front room (even under cabinets, behind baskets and the sofa)

This thread is getting HUGE I haven't had chance to read it all today. Hope all are fine and dandy

See you soon - over the moon!

ludaloo · 25/03/2007 14:12

Dan4Han Hello

How are you getting on McDreamy ??

Dan4Han · 25/03/2007 14:17

She's not incontenent(sorry can't spell today) but if there's one poo in the litter tray she refuses to use it. Very snooty cat here. lol Anyways my lunch is over so i'm off to keep tidying!! lol

grouchy Ellie loves Dombie & Kitt, I think its because Dombie is Scottish & so his her daddy. She smiles & laughs at the songs they sing. If you sing them to her she just grins from ear to ear. I know they say no TV until at least after the age of 2, but she LOVES them.
dan4han you are doing really well.
tort glad to hear that your dd is pain free, hope it continues.

Well little E has been asleep for the past hour & 10 mins. So I've finished my ironing, hung washing on line(more ironing)
I am off to make my self a well deserved cuppa.

shouldbe · 25/03/2007 14:46

Both lo's are out at parties - dh is working on the car why oh why can't I be bothered to get on with the ironing while I have the TV to myself for once?!...

grouchyoscar · 25/03/2007 14:59

D&K no TV under 2...nah! there's some fine baby/toddler stuff out there, I think you've just got to look.

Jim Henson was/is my hero

EHM · 25/03/2007 15:00

shouldbe make yourself a nice cuppa have a biscuit & watch a bit of telly. you haven't been well with that awful head cold. Be good to yourself for once, now thats an order lady!

EHM · 25/03/2007 15:03
