Mission - do you think Kelly has read this thread and we've all moaned about the repetative missions. It's another new one!

Ivor I was tired just reading your daily routine!

Mhamai I'm glad you've discovered the magic of the shiny sink. Mine makes me smile when I do It (but mostly I just measn I've emptied and dried it . Yesterday I really did do the whole shiny thing as I was inspired by everyone else)

Morning Jelley !
Kids are watching Nick Jr and eating there breakfast, so i'm sat here eating mine.. new resolution is to eat mine before the school run, that way when i get back i can get on the treadmill, gert my exercise out of the way for the day, then shower and do all the other bits

Well thats the plan, my calves are aching a bit from yesterday though and that was only a mile

House is a bit of a mess as i must admit to failing completly to clear the kitchen after dinner .. d/washer is now on I really didn't like not having a clean kitchen .. this fly thing gets in your brain !

well i've babbled inanely enough.. back later ! Have a good day all !

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 07:48

Hello

Looking as though it's going to be another sunny day and I have loads to do so I will open the windows, let some fresh air in, find a good CD and get on
Kids are up and having breakfast, lunches are packed (I'm still in my PJ's - dh is doing the school run for me )

To do (have actually been looking forward to posting my list and getting on!)~
~make beds
~quick tidy upstairs
~tidy downstairs
~dust downstairs
~hoover downstairs
~mop floors downstairs
~make lemon drizzle cake
~s&s kitchen
~s&s cloakroom
~re-load ds's wardrobe - room all painted now
~go to PO
~collect ds from pre-school and play in the garden/mow the grass
~collect dd from after-school club
~enjoy the rest of the afternoon

Hope everyone has a good day
Welcome newbies/returnies from yesterday

satinshoes · 13/03/2007 08:14

Morning all.

Good night's sleep - yay!

In a particularly swotty way I must confess I did this mission yesterday i have built cleaning the door/light switches etc into my routine with the cloth i use for the bath !

On the right side of my PC are files for dh's business. A bit scary...but i did the VAT return last night and and had a mini tidy when i put files away!

How good am i!! Although i wont begin to list what i have to do today as it will take a whole page

Have a good day everyone.

damewashalot · 13/03/2007 08:28

yaddayah · 13/03/2007 09:45

Glad you enjoyed the weekend luda
Stacey i'm not speaking to my dh either (ongoing since Sunday!!)

damewashalot · 13/03/2007 09:50

Back from school run.

Got 2 loads of washing out

I'm using the anger method today, decided I could sit in a corner and cry or attack the house, worked before school, lets see if I can keep it up.

Keep going everyone it does make you feel better

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 09:56

Thanks guys

I do the housework in a rage when Dh and I fall out...Its suprising how much you can do! Then I'm calmer by the end of the day.

Hope you make up soon anyway stacey, and DWAL I'm glad you decided not to sit and cry hope you are feeling better soon too xx

I have....
~Put a load of washing in
~Loaded D/W
~Tidied breakfast things away
~and last nights dinner things!! (yaddah I didn't tidy away last night either!)
~Put bin out

Back to it I guess!!

xx

Jelley · 13/03/2007 10:26

I agree re directing the anger at the housework. I do it, then I can sulk in a clean house, or dp feels bad and takes the kids out to make up to me, and I get to relax in a tidy house.

I hope today gets better for those feeling low.

I feel better this week for a bit of sunshine, and deciding to take control and do something about how I'm feeling.

Saw Dr this morning, and have blood tests to do, new pain killers to take at bed time, and new cream for my skin.

Done list

DR
Tesco
Butcher [yuk]
wash up

To Do

Make stew to go in slow cooker
15 mins in kitchen
shine sink
clean fridge
mission
hoover
wrap peresent for neighbour
take ds to party
collect dds (remembering to take bike to school if poss)
dds to dentist
lots more I can't think of.

Probably won't get much of it done, as I'll be out all afternoon, but it is good to have a goal.

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 11:01

shouldbe are you going to mow the grass?? I need to too. I'm dreading it though as it hasn't been done all winter...and I'm a wimp!! I get half way across the lawn and think...pants!!!! I'm sooo unfit! It kills my arms! (and we have a hovver mower so what am I moaning about!!!)

It is lovely sun here too, but still quite cold...it is blue sky out the front and grey out the back.

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 11:04

I'm hoping to mow the grass, luda , yes...would like to go out and do it now while the sun is shining but can'y quite be bothered to even get the mower out of the shed - there'll be cobwebs and spiders on it! And I've mopped the floors now and the mower has to come through the house to do the front lawn so I'm going off the idea...does need doing though...

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 11:04

Blue skies front and back here

Jelley · 13/03/2007 11:23

Thanks luda I always feel worse at the weekend, but have decided a bit of positive action is what is needed.

Washing is on
Dinner is inslowcooker
washing up done (again)

My grass needs cutting too but will have to wait until the weekend I think.

OP posts:
shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 12:45

Back lawn cut
Lemon drizzle cake made and forgotten in oven while mowing quite black on top, hope it still tastes ok

laloop · 13/03/2007 13:12

Haven't had a chance to read the thread yet as out all morning but just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone.

No list/mission here today though, will just do the basics.

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 13:13

shouldbe you spurred me to do it! Back lawn nicely mowed!
I too had to delve into the shed, where there are spiders the size of elephants!!!

It is sooooo much eisier to mow the lawn now my DD2 can occupy herself! Last summer, she could barely crawl, so couldn't be put down in the garden...she had to be strapped in her high chair or push chair....now she can potter about!....she found the lawn mower highly amusing!!and kept getting DS to show him what I was doing!!!!
It is so sunny now!!! Blue skies all over!!
I have bought all the garden toys out for the kids and they are eating sandwiches on their little picnic table.

I just have to strim as the swing and the trampolene have little feet where the mower couldn't reach!

Really feel summery today ...washing out on the line, nice cut grass smell, kids playing out...we have sliding patio doors and again, DD2 is that much bigger this year she can get in and out safely (It really really makes me realise I don't want any more babies, I am so looking forward to this summer now she can walk and play!)

Right well, off to do a bit more...might sweep the patio and the path THANK YOU shouldbe !!!!!
