Mission - do you think Kelly has read this thread and we've all moaned about the repetative missions. It's another new one!

Ivor I was tired just reading your daily routine!

Mhamai I'm glad you've discovered the magic of the shiny sink. Mine makes me smile when I do It (but mostly I just measn I've emptied and dried it . Yesterday I really did do the whole shiny thing as I was inspired by everyone else)

Hello!

It's such a lovely day today isn't it? Seems a shame to be stuck indoors but c'est la vie (DS having nap).

Already done

Taken yesterday's junk to charity shop
Bought veg etc for tonight's dinner
2 loads of washing on and one hung out
Beds made
Radio Times purchased
Digital camera charging

To do

Clean bathroom door bits
Send photos of DS to relatives
Unload dishwasher
Tidy kitchen
Hoover downstairs
Sweep kitchen floor (mop too if DS permits)
More washing
Mammoth ironing session tonight

Sometimes I feel I don't get much done, but then I remember how much time it takes just to keep DS fed, clean and happy (approx 23.5 hours a day).

Good luck everyone

Nine

Afternoon all,

Hello to all the newbies there are too many to list individually. Not catch up with yesterdays thread, or read todays as yet.

Been out the house since 930 this morning went to a new baby & toddler group & met a few new mums. I had a lovely time, and we met a mum & baby from our original baby signing class. It was so nice to see the pair of them we are hopefully going to get together at the end of next week.

I am off to have lunch & then take in the spring sunshine by taking Ellie for big walk.

Hope all my regular flying friends are all well? Hope that the newbies are enjoying flying?

Bye for Now EHM

Hi nine, I think nobody really realises how time consuming children really are! It really does take ages to feed, dress, occupy, keep happy etc. etc.! And we still manage to do everything else!!!We are sooooo fantastic really aren't we!

EHM your morning sounds as though it has been a good one too!

Well I am off to the village shop for some chocolate now!!! (Its my reward for doing the lawn...I need it to help my armpit muscles recover )

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 13:58

Where's tort btw?

(I only ask cos I know she loves a mention...)

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 13:59

I was wondering that....

Maybe she is mowing her lawn

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 14:00

shouldbedoingthehousework · 13/03/2007 14:02

I really need to go and sample some lemon drizzle....npthing else is going to happen on the FLY front today. I'm saving ds's room for tomorrow, along with the ironing. Going to enjoy the garden and the sunshine now

TTFN you normal people xx

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:03

well maybe she is lying on her newly mowed lawn, having a sun bathe...

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:08

ooh GO hmmm...what a nightmare neighbour!!! I really like southeast's suggestion....collect a load of slugs and put them in her veg patch!!

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:09

p.s....hope the wobbly burny leg is feeling better soon xxxxx

grouchyoscar · 13/03/2007 14:15

she has been an OK neighbor but nowshe seems to find more kudos in being matey with the new next door neighbours. There's 2 parents and 4 U5 year olds, she's from Africa and he's estranged from his family so there's no support. I think they tick more 'right on' boxes for her. Even though you can see that Mr next door is playing her for a real mug.

ho hum, just need to calm down...like I need this atm huh

staceym11 · 13/03/2007 14:17

oh too many posts, FLYing was going well until i just had an email from dh saying we'r better off without him. i think he's leaving us, and my world has collapsed, dont know what to do!

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:21

poor you GO Its so annoying as you have to share the yard too...Could you somehow fence a bit off?? If not she will just have to lump it, and If she can't bring herself to be civil to a 3 year old then she needs a swift kick!!!!
...how can she expect a small child to not create some kind of chaos....they ALL do! Well don't you feel you have to spend all summer inside either, she'll have to go and rent an allotment or something!

grouchyoscar · 13/03/2007 14:22

Bloody Hell Stacey...You OK {{hugs}}

Have you replied?

Keep us posted, we're here for you XX

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:24

oooooh stacey does he really mean it!!?? Or is he just in a temper??
Ohhh nooo....not good! Phone him back....can you have a talk to him?? (presuming you don't want him to leave..)

Be calm it'll be ok hun {{{HUGS}}}....

MadameSleepsLessAndLess · 13/03/2007 14:25

stacey i hope thats not true, i am sure your dh doesn't mean it

grouchyoscar · 13/03/2007 14:26

Luda...we have a private bit but DS climbs over/under fencing to chat and play. And ND's older 2 do too.

Why come and live on an enclosed yard if you can't handle neighbours?

Sooner she sods off and emigrates, like she keeps saving she's going to as she hates this country, the better

staceym11 · 13/03/2007 14:27

he wont answer my phone calls, he's getting his colleauge to lie to me and tell me hes busy/not around, he wont answer my emails or texts, i cant cope with this, iv got both dcs on my own here i don't know anyone around here and im falling apart!!

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:28

Have to go now as we have a friend coming but hope you and dh work things out x x x x

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:29

ooooh stacey poor you...please don't get too het up...has he done this/said this before??? I am sure he is trying to make you sweat...(my Dh has done before now)

ludaloo · 13/03/2007 14:30

have fun shouldbe xxx

grouchyoscar · 13/03/2007 14:31

Stacey...don't try to do anything in the heat of the moment. I know it's the first thing you want to do tho

Give him some time, during that time, think about what you can do if he does leave. (finances etc)

Then try again to contact him

Best of luck with it
