Slight zoflora addiction

Hi, I was on the last zoflora thread but can't seem to find it.

I've been shopping tonight ( Asda ) and bought a couple more bottles of winter morning as I do when I see them.
Came home, goes to cleaning cupboard and there is no room for said bottles, I have around 25 bottles of bloody Zoflo Blush

I need to restrain myself from buying and then get my arse in gear, have a massive winter clean and get rid of some of it.
Anyone else still loving theirs?

Would be interested to see how different people use it, I tend to put mine in mop bucket, use on sink and worktops and my favourite is skirting boards.
Oh and I was diagnosed with OCD last week, makes a lot of sense!!

The three main things I do with it are the hoover, so when I switch it on it smells lovely instead of the stale dog hair I used to smell;
a drop down the sinks and bath, including the overflow. This is particularly good to do if you go away on holiday;
and a drop or two in hot soapy water in the sink every morning to soak the cloth or sponge that's used for wiping worktops etc. It makes the kitchen smell lovely and keeps the cloth clean and disinfected.

TheLionQueen · 12/01/2017 10:00

They're probably my top three two MaynJune and I like to put it in particularly manky washing.
I NC for another thread and couldn't get back!
Zoflo has taken a back seat recently as had too much going on. I did clean the bathroom yesterday but it was definitely a bleach job!

wishparry · 12/01/2017 13:31

I have put it to use in my Hoover and it does smell so much better!yay.if I use it to clean my bath and toilet would it be ok to use neat on a cloth or should I mix it in a bowl with water?also thelionqueen-you say you use it for washing.do you mean laundry or dishes?

celeste84 · 12/01/2017 15:06

I always use Zoflora diluted. Its ok to use with a sponge for the outside of the loo otherwise the inside I would just stick with bleach.

Dailymaildailyfail · 12/01/2017 21:50

I got a bit overexcited and put a capful in my dishwasher on a hot empty wash. Now when I use it everything comes out with a weird film on... any ideas if the Zoflora has reacted to anything?

wishparry · 12/01/2017 22:02

Ooh.I'll definitely not be putting it in my dishwasher then.

DoWop2 · 12/01/2017 22:08

They're in Poundland at the mo, stock up!

MintToBe · 12/01/2017 22:25

Don't use it to mop laminate or wood though. Its not good for it.
I've just washed all the dogs bedding in it. I also use it to wash down the rabbit pen. Obviously without them in it!
I also throw a bucket over the yard when I'm on dog poo patrol!

wishparry · 12/01/2017 22:33

DoWop2-that's where I got mine from.
and thank you MintToBe.I was thinking of using it to mop my laminate flooring but won't now.

CurbsideProphet · 12/01/2017 23:04

DoWop2 I'll have to check out the offerings in my nearest one!

When people say that they put it in their hoover.... How?!

DoWop2 · 12/01/2017 23:20

Curbside I pop a bit on a cotton ball and put it inside. DH has just dropped a couple of drops onto the filter before and that also worked.

YouMeanYouForgotCranberriesToo · 12/01/2017 23:21

I only discovered zoflora today. Dh had bought cinnamon spice because he thought I'd like the smell, which I really do! He forgot to tell me though and I found ut in the back of the cupboard.

Quick question though, after I wipe down kitchen surfaces with diluted zoflora do I need to wipe over again or is it safe to do food prep etc on it?

DoWop2 · 12/01/2017 23:23

wishparry you can use it in the washing machine. I use half a capful for teen boy regular stink and up to two capfuls for manky football kit left in a bag for two weeks stink! I just add it to the softener. I've never used it for dishes so can't help with that one.

DoWop2 · 12/01/2017 23:25

Youmean it is tainting so you shouldn't really do direct food prep without rinsing. I just tend to go over it again with a damp cloth, which may not really do an awful lot but we've all survived and I've been using it for aeons.

AliceInUnderpants · 12/01/2017 23:34

I can use this in my steam mop? Talk me through it 😀

LavenderDoll · 12/01/2017 23:46

I bloody love zoflora
I use it for everything

Thanks DoWop that's what I did, just wanted to check

DoWop2 · 12/01/2017 23:59

Alice just pop half a capful in with the water and voila!

wishparry · 13/01/2017 06:20

Thank you DoWop2.I'll put a cap full I'm with my laundry today.also what is everybody's opinions on the best scented zoflora?

PrancerForHoney · 13/01/2017 06:48

My absolute favourite has been Winter Spice this Christmas. Springtime is nice . Bluebell Woods and Green Apple are really lovely.

PrancerForHoney · 13/01/2017 07:16

I also use it in my pound shop window squeezy to do the bathroom walls and windows.
We have those plastic glittery panels and they come up a treat.
Disclaimer: The previous owners put them in but I have become strangley fond of them. The magic LED lights are another story though

AliceInUnderpants · 13/01/2017 07:16

Thank you DoWop, I've been looking for a scented option for steam mopping!

inisfree · 13/01/2017 07:37

Notapuffin I have found Zodlora in SuperValu

TheLionQueen · 13/01/2017 08:13

Zodlora! Is this a new thing we need to be aware of?! Grin
I meant washing as in laundry rather than dishes, its good for towels, bedding and DH stinky work clothes.
I didn't know that about it not being good for laminate, thanks I'll give it a swerve in future.
In other news, fucking hell, I got a BFP this morning Shock
