now DH is back at work, I might actually FLY again Just sitting here with a homemade facepack on (which didn't really go to plan ) and just about to jump into shower and get stuck into the morning routine Hopefully I have abit of time before DS wakes

Jelley · 16/01/2007 07:09

Morning all,
paranoid Android for the job. I could do with something like that, too.

ivor - Sounds nasty . Wishing you better soon.

pippah - enjoy the sitting on the sofa bit, it doesn't last long, and all the housework will be there forever!

bewilderbeast It sounded like you did quite alot yesterday. When are you moving?

tortoise - Glad it went ok. I need to book dentist before my free post natal dental care runs out.

I now have 3 sick children I'll wash up and hoover today, but not planning on more than that.

Quootiepie · 16/01/2007 07:10

I haven't been keeping up at all with the comings and goings

Jelley · 16/01/2007 07:12

I've cut back on evening mn time recently, so I've missed a bit, too.
Lots fo new FLYers, and small babies around, plus you aren't the only one back after a break from FLYing.

OP posts:
Quootiepie · 16/01/2007 07:13

I know satinshoes had a baby, but that's about it. Any news on the Tort front?

bewilderbeast · 16/01/2007 07:14

Jelley
we're moving out on Monday, don't know whether we'll be moving into the new house on the same day or not so we may have to take ds and go and stay with my parents for a while which would not be a good thing

Jelley · 16/01/2007 07:15

She's usually on in the evenings, and I don't always read the whole thread from the day before, so I don't know. She had a ss meeting yesterday, which went "ok"

OP posts:
Jelley · 16/01/2007 07:16

Sounds a nightmare.

I wonder why so many people seem to end up moving house just after they have a baby?

Quootiepie · 16/01/2007 07:38

Having a few problems getting going this morning...

Someone gimme a kick!

InvisibleFlamesparrow · 16/01/2007 07:46

Laundry area in 15 mins??? My dining room is my laundry - it wojn't make a dent!

Jelley · 16/01/2007 07:51

You still not here Flame?

Consider yourself >
Just do 15 mins in thereany way (and maybe another 15 this afternoon.)

My laundry area is the washing machine in the kitchen. I think I'll get it clean in 15 mins.

Will try and do something in the dds room instead.

satinshoes · 16/01/2007 08:33

Morning all. I'm officially knackered. Being on here is preferable to doing anything so no FLYing for me today but I might just chat

Hi Q, welcome back

Pippah and EllieHsmum - you are so sweet to me. Kind words go a long way

How did Tort and HN get on? Havent read yesterdays thread.

Have a good day all.

JustIvor · 16/01/2007 08:44

Hello one and all! I'm not keeping up too well with the threads but it's great to see it so busy here!

Thanks for all the "Get well" wishes. I slept well last night for the first time in over a week. The antibiotics have kicked in. I might now be able to sniff and bend down without that blinding pain but I'm being a wuss and I'm not risking it.

You're not on MN at the mo are you, flame? Look forward to seeing your list!

If I call the laundry area the little shelf above the boiler where I keep the washing powder etc, then I can do that in 15 mins. I asked dh to degunk the washing machine filter the other day and it was very full of wet sticky gunk, so it was a good job done. The ironing pile is huge again but I'm only going to do the basics. Dh is away for a few nights twice in the next ten days or so, so I need to get a good number of work shirts ironed for him. He'll need at least 4 to go away each time I guess.

Today's list:-
~ shower and dress
~ take tablets done
~ put a load of washing on done
~ finish sending thank you notes
~ find Family History Society Subs stuff and pay up
~ walk the dog
~ rest up
~ get some meat out of the freezer for tea

See you all later.

JustIvor · 16/01/2007 08:47

Hello satin. How was last night? I do sympathise. Ds used to be up every two hours or less. He wanted to sleep on his tummy and I wouldn't let him and then he used to feed off to sleep and when I moved him either he'd wake, or all the excess milk used to come back up (too full when vertical!) or both! He slept through once before the age of 11mths. He's a great sleeper now! Aged 13 yrs.

satinshoes · 16/01/2007 08:52

Hi Ivor Glad you feel a bit better

Last night DD was up from 5pm until midnight ???? She was so tired but every time she drifted off she wouldnt settle cos of wind, poo, hunger etc. She fed nearly all of that time with little breaks of 20 mins or so. I thought she'd then sleep ages with exhaustion but she was up again for feeds at 3, 4.30 and 6.30. I am hoping that as she's nearly 6 weeks it is her growth spurt come a bit early as i cant face oo many more nights like that

shouldbedoingthehousework · 16/01/2007 08:54

Morning everyone, too many to mention personally- it's getting busy round here

Have had a couple of days off FLYing and boy does it show, it's suprising how quickly even the basics mount up!
Dd at school and ds at pre-school till lunchtime so I need to get on this morning ~

~unload/load and run dw
~unload/load and run td
~unload/load and run wm x3
~tidy all bedrooms
~yesterdays mission in bathroom
~todays mission (utility room is still fairly clear so shouldn't be too bad
~hoover everywhere
~dust everywhere
~household filing?...maybe
~kitchen table and kids chairs need scrubbing

that should get me back on track!

Hope everyone has a good day
Also hope yesterday was OK for tort and HN

EllieHsMum · 16/01/2007 08:56
