Eww grosss Ruby How old is DS2?

Just a quick thought, do the 27 things need to be stuff that flung, or can it just be things that need to be returned to their natural home?

omg I'm having SUCH a blitz on our bedroom it's almost unreal.

We've got ALL the boxes of stuff from our failed business (which went under over 1yr ago!) in there, and loads of other stuff which I'm unearthing - got a huge pile of "ebay" stuff now - including some Playstation (1) games, a CD player (its' DH's but I don't think he'll notice it's gone LOL), rowing machine (just a cheap one - but still working), old Sky box (no idea if it's working or not - but I've seen loads on there that don't work that people actually buy ),.

It was SOOOOO dusty round the edges (behind where the boxes and piles of stuff were.

Think I'm going to get a load of it on Ebay tonight before DH gets home and realises. DEFINITELY done more than a "27" fling boogie - more like 227 LOL - still haven't got to junder the bed yet - but I'm getting there - DS1 has already been under and pulled out all the old tissues, and other disgusting rubbish out for me - so I just need to get the hoover under it.

Oh - and I've cleaned my big bay window/window sill this afternoon - and but the voiles back up - still got the back window (well it's the back door out of the lounge/diner actually) to do - but it'll only take 5 minutes.

peegeeweegee · 21/11/2006 16:26

Right, have not done much today. Had lunch with dd, took dd to nursery, walked the dog, tried to do a menu planner, collect dd from nursery and ds from school...
Dc are now having an early tea whilst I am having a cuppa - need to take ds to beavers in an hour...

Have still not dusted and hoovered my lounge and dining room. Dd had great fun drawing shapes in the dust on the tv so will definately have to get the duster out....

Luda - had a lovely mental image of your 3 dc standing in a row covered in polystyrene balls, being hoovered....

I haven't got rid of much of the business stuff - (daren't it's mainly DH's domain - lots of paperwork - which as we're still clearing debts from it now probably not a good idea to throw away LOL). But I've tidied it up - and seperated the junk (ebay stuff) from the business stuff.

Definitely feels good, about to put the oven on to warm up (so I can bung a casserole in the oven) and then finish off up there. Might light some incense sticks to freshen it up a bit too (I can't find my scented candles ) hopefully DH will appreciate it when he gets in later from work.......I do owe it to him - I accused him of cheating on me this morning, because DS2 found 2 (unopened) condoms in a jacket pocket........but it's a jacket he hadn't worn for AGES and last time he wore it was out with me . Felt AWFUL afterwards, aplogised profusely and we had a long hug - but I still feel bad about it.

HIA FLYERS
Well you lot have been really busy.I've been out most of day sorting various boring things out.Weather is really horrid i felt so guilty making dds go out in it full of colds.Didn't have any choice though,i consoled myself though by thinking next time i have to go a million places with them at least it will be in the car.
Have finaly rung up about the astronomical gas bill they've agreed to £50 a week.At least i can sleep now. They were going to make me have a bloody pre payment meter.I told them about my dd having lots of machines for medical purposes as i know they can't make you have a meter if this is the case, anyway it's sorted now.
Desperately need to do some flying.House is driving me mad,i could in theory get it all done before bed but dds are taking up every minute.Oldest is needing suction every two minutes(has a tracheostomy)and youngest is whinging non stop and wanting to sit on my knee. Can't wait till they're better.

fannyannie · 21/11/2006 16:47

going to light the fire (we've got a real coal fire) as well - and try and give the lounge/diner a once over to make it look nice.....and then give him his dinner with a Vodka (he's got some really posh Polish stuff) and Orange

There'll be no 'hanky-panky' in the bedroom though - 12 weeks pg and the last thing I feel like LOL

satinshoes · 21/11/2006 17:38

done bugger all today......

feeling v. pg, tired and emotional

fannyannie - not sure if i've met you before? congrats on pg. just give dh something nice for tea and he'll forgive you

satin - you may well have met me before - but with a different user name

satinshoes · 21/11/2006 18:59

aw fanny - i'm not bright enough today to play detective. give me a clue?

i feel like sh** having BHs about every 15 mins and they are starting to get a bit more uncomfortable. DH has given me night off from putting DD to bed and said 'have you thought about timing them?'

fannyannie · 21/11/2006 19:20

nope no clues sorry .

Anyhow - actually came back to the thread to update some more.

My kitchen is now tidy - all that has to go into the dishwasher is the plates the dinner is on (and DH won't be eating his until much later when he gets in from work). I'll eat after the boys have gone to bed.

I've hung up the washing on the clothes airer that I did today, I'm about to go and finish off in the bedroom for today - just got one 'top' to do - my bedside cabinet - and then a quick hoover under the bed - 15 minutes of insence stick and it'll smell lovely.

Then got to clean the fire place out (had a fire the other night but haven't got round to cleaning it yet ) and I'm going to make another one - not very cold tonight - but it's a nice 'cosy' thing to have blazing when DH gets in later.

Then all I'll have left to do is to empty the bins around the house, put the black bin out on the street for collection tomorrow and do a quick blitz in the living room - then I'll sit on my ar*e for the rest of the night

HazelnutsRoastingOnAnOpenFire · 21/11/2006 19:22

Evening all. I have not had a good day.
I got kicked off line last night and I could not get back online. So I turned off the computer and went to bed early. Waste of time as I could not get to sleep. 4:30am I got to sleep and then DS1 was awake at 6:30am.
I forgot I had a meeting until this am, I had to goto Bath for the meeting with SS. That was a waste of time.
I get home, feel very cold and P*d off and went to come on here and I could not get online. Grrrrrrrrrrr. So I got lunch for DD and me. Then it was time to go and get DSs from school. Got back wet and cold as it p**ed it down on the way back. DSs bathed to warm them up.
Then next door came round to say the phones were not working as a branch off the old tree outside here had fell on the phone line and broke it.
Thats way I could not get online last night and lunch time. It has not long been fixed.

I see that there as been loads of FLYing done today. I have not done any

Just DS1 to go to bed now, then I am going to have a nice hot bath. (I hope )

peegeeweegee. I am getting there. Still not 100% but much better than I was. Thanks

HNtree is ok and at home now. I was going to call her later tonight. I`m hoping she is going to get a computer soon. She did say she thinks that she would like one.

squatchette · 21/11/2006 20:02

Hi all,
Ruby i took your advice and had a nice hot bath, had some salmon pasta for tea (ready meal) and now i'm having some nice hot milk.

DD2 has had her trachy since she was 4 months old she will be 4 in jan and they are going to try taking it out then.We tried in spring but it wasn't successful. To be honest we're used to it now and it's only really a prob at moment because she is full of a cold.Every time she coughs or sneezes it needs suctioning. She's asleep now though so hardly any coughing.
DD1 is watching her fave Pepa Pig,i'm going to get her the playhouse for xmas she'll be so made up.

I'm going to make a list of jobs tonight, get a good nights sleep hopefuly and start afresh with the flying tomorrow. It only takes a few days of not doing much for the house to become chaos again. On the bright side though the longer i've been flying the quicker it seems to take to get back on track after a break.

fannyannie · 21/11/2006 20:03

omg - I think my DH must be physic - either that or we really did become 'one' when we married .

He called about 15 minutes ago, was really sweet, asked what the weather was like (confessed I didn't have a clue whether it was hot or cold as I was sweating like a pig at that time having be FLYing like crazy and yelling at DS1 at the same time). Anyhow, he said he wondered whether he should come home a bit earlier and make a fire.

Told him I was going to do that anyhow and he sounded really pleased (did warn him that there wouldn't be much 'action' in the bedroom later - and he joked that he'd go and see his mate instead LOL - though did say we could at least sit and snuggle up on the sofa together AWWWWWWW). SO, he's not coming home earlier - usual time (about 9.30-9.45ish. Which means I've got about 1 1/2hrs to take the last few bits out of the bedroom that don't belong there (like the hoover LOL), wipe down the door/window in the lounge/diner and rehand the net (yep sorry really is a net ), clean the fireplace out and light a fire.

The latter will probably take me about 3/4hr as I'm not very good at lighting the fire . Then I'll be done for the night

squatchette · 21/11/2006 20:08

Hazel ,sorry to hear you've had a shitty day too. This weather really makes it a pita to go out doesn't it?I had trouble with our pc over weekend it got a virus.Seems like it wanted to join in with being ill .Did you see the sw because of the recent probs with your XP?Hope it all gets sorted soon .BTW ,sorry if you've posted this whilst i was offline, but did he turn up that day the solicitor came?

Off to sort the fire now - taking the hoover (last thing from the bedroom that doesn't belond there) down with me. Shall report back when it's lit
