Morning all,

Thanks for the instructions to do nothing I am full of cold and tired but nothing else happening with bump which is a relief. Only 7 weeks (or less) to go...

Today's mission sucks for me as DHs bedside table is awful.

There is a P.S on the mission saying if you have any nice bedding get it washed and ready for Friday's mission.

Have a good day all

I have to say..my bedside table has nothing but a stereo on it...the cot is on the other side of the bed!
I could always find a nice picture though....
Morning Bat

Rebecca's birthday today so the girls have my time today - not the house!!!

batinshoes · 25/10/2006 08:21

Happy Birthday to Rebecca today Enjoy your day off Jarm

Mummyhill. Go and shine your sink if nothing else

OP posts:
ludaloo · 25/10/2006 08:25

I missed the shiny sink tips...my sink just won't shine it is stainless steel...but most definately stained! the bottom is tea coloured..
how do you get yours shiny??

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 25/10/2006 08:38

Off to find my sink to shine it.

batinshoes · 25/10/2006 08:38

I use Cif or Shiny Sinks and leave it for a bit then wipe it down with a cloth. The stains will come out but you might need a bit of elbow grease.

Here are the fly sink shining tips but i think they are a bit extreme

jasnDISMemBERED · 25/10/2006 08:58

Happy birthday Rebecca.

Scribble - love the new name

To remove tea stains use biological washing powder and very hot water, and soak (works on cups etc too)

I did do yesterdays mission eventually, and we have no bedside tables, so I will clean the windowsill instead.

Just noticed mummyhill...hello go shine your sink!

SusiSkelletonInTheCloset · 25/10/2006 09:35

rebecca have a fab day today!!! and jarm: kids only today

welcome back mummyhill - you can do it!! you can do it!! don't make me get my pompoms out and wave them around

made my bed, kids and i are dressed and well, that's it
bedroom is always a tricky one because dp sleeps till 2ish pm and then there are so many other things to do

asleep · 25/10/2006 09:35

happy birthday rebecca! hope you all have a lovely day!

we're getting a new dining table (MIL's old one - it's gorgeous!). so DP has been arranging for a local charity to pick up ours tomorrow.

and our heating is finally working again!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 25/10/2006 09:38

i will confess to having tidied kitchen (dishwasher, surfaces etc) and hoovering lounge, but that is IT!

NO MORE!

Waiting for dad to get here and then we are off out!

ludaloo · 25/10/2006 09:42

right...sink shining it is then...
thanks bat
Do you think an "SOS pad" is the same as a brillo pad???????

Skribble · 25/10/2006 09:46

Morning all, I wasn't pissed honest I just struggled to type one handed due to the crackers and pate.

Mission nul and void, they are still clear from last month. So I really should get my clothes sorted.

My sink is white plastic and will never shine, so I just make sure it is really clean and always clear.

bigfatbump · 25/10/2006 09:49

MOrning
Day Three for me.
Tbh hadn't expected so many emails, but I guess I won't see them till I'm home as work won't let me into yahoo to change my email address to work.
So I have a shiny sink (actually dh is loving the flylady and has already become a bit obsessive about the sink lol), a wash in and we are all dressed - just as well as am in work. My shoes are on but that may change.

When I was looking throught the website did I dream it or was there a page with today's emails collected in one place?

So tonight is bedside tables, I've got off lightly this week as the bedroom is probably the neatest part of our house, I won't know what's it me next week.

Happy flying everyone

tessasmum · 25/10/2006 09:52

Ludaloo - not sure but wouldn't use a brillo pad on stainless steel. I did the bleach thing (used toilet duck actually ) and then stainless steel cleaning stuff and elbow grease!
HTH

Skribble · 25/10/2006 09:53

I just unsubscribed from the e.mails as I can get all the info I need from the fly site and the support from here. I never read any of the testimonials and didn't find the reminders helpful.

I just followed the baby steps here Baby Steps

jasnDISMemBERED · 25/10/2006 09:56

bfb - you didn't dream the email page...you can also get them all sent in a "daily digest" instead of indiviaually - I do this and then just delete one unread email a day instead of 15!

I'm not dressed
Will sort myself out, and not come back until after lunch. Send me a way if you see me before 1pm please.

Cappuccino · 25/10/2006 09:57

I'm going to count how many days before there's a mission without the word 'love' in it

Skribble · 25/10/2006 10:01

Or "have fun with this".

I am not dressed yet, half term TV has buggered upmy schedule, so I will watch escape to the country or what ever it is and then get showred and dressed, might put another load on now.

bigfatbump · 25/10/2006 10:02

jasnDISMemBERED, how do I get to the email page? I can't seem to find it.
bfb

Cappuccino · 25/10/2006 10:03
