Hi again,

I have cleaned the window sills and bedside tables in the bedroom. Also cleaned the table & window sills in the dining room. 2nd load of washing in, and kitchen clean.

feeling guilty as DD is in front of DVD while I feel sorry for myself full of cold on computer.

Well didn't put second load on because shock horror I didn't have enough for even a half load of either darks or whites.

I may try on a few things and "fling" out rubbish old clothes that don't fit.

Kitchen is my room of the day to to weekly stuff in so clean micro and check freezer. And I might manage one of thos boxes of junk in main bedroom. But priotiy is to go for a walk too, it is now in my list of things to do each day as all my clothes are getting tight and I am getting bad lower back ache .

Skribble · 25/10/2006 10:11

Bat I am sure DD is relaxed and happy , take it easy now.

ludaloo · 25/10/2006 10:12

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 10:36

Hi all.
Lots of chatting so far this morning!
I don't have to clean the bedside table. Its not got much on it. Im sure there is lots of other things to do! Put yesterdays clean washing away for a start.
Kitchen clean and DS's gone back to their Dad's.
Happy Birthday Rebecca. Enjoy day off JARM.
Still waiting for solicitor to phone.

moaningpaper · 25/10/2006 10:47

Shiny sink recovery for a terrible sink: Fill it RIGHT UP just so it is FULL of water (with mine you can do this so that it covers the draining board too)

Then tip in a cup of bleach and leave for a few hours

MAGIC

Or spray with a bleach water mix

I only do it OCCASIONALLY becaue I don't like using bleach but it really brings it up without the hard scrubbing

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 10:53

Load of washing on.
Cillit bang grime and lime is good for sinks!

mummyscaryhouseonthehill · 25/10/2006 11:03

1 load in washing machine, 1 load in dishwasher. Not quite found sink yet will have to get it done though.

Have been feeling a bit down recently and not been getting any sleep either as ds is still teething.

When ever I get down the first thing that happens is that routines etc go out the window and housework stops I just can't get motivated. Then the state of the house makes me feel even worse Vicious(spelling is getting worse) cycle I must learn to break.

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 11:19

Nice to see you mummyhill.
Remember small steps. you have made a start which is great. Rest then shine sink when you have time.

pippah · 25/10/2006 11:48

Hi all,

Sending out some pregnant lady vibes to Bat.... take it easy and look after yourself x Whats your due date? Mine is 25th November....

Hoping this mission won't take too long. I also need to firm up on my morning and evening routines a bit. I also need to find out what the weekly home blessing thing is.

I know you're not supposed to link to Flylady, but if anyone could explain how to see the emails on the website i would be very grateful. I have a big tendency to feel v guilty with myself at times and am not sure if getting lots of e-mails telling me what to do would be very good for my self-esteem!

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 11:51

e-mails here
We can link but not copy and paste from the site!

bigfatbump · 25/10/2006 12:01

Fab! Thanks for that, I can now see them at work and decide on my plans for at home tonight. I'm feeling really enthusiastic about this atm, long may it last. I am secretly a bit sad about files, labels and coloured pens so this could be just up my street.

QuootieSpookypie · 25/10/2006 12:09

She was abit old school, and didnt get baby led weaning... but anyway! Going for a walk soon, and dont have a bedside table yet so I think im all done Ill get bathroom photos later if my comp doesnt die uplaoding them...

Apronscreams · 25/10/2006 12:18

Morning all.

Ok the bedside tales LOOK fine - its whats in the drawers thats a disaster - still guessing this was coming I have a promise from dh he will do his own.

cleaner comes today - Horay!!!!- so when shes gone I will concentrate on the mission should be easy as the rest of the house will look good.

Apronscreams · 25/10/2006 12:19

bat- keep taking it easy.
Tortoise - any news?

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 12:36

Nope. No news.
Best phone my solicitor. XP1 didn't say much when he picked ds's up and doesn't sound like much was disscused.
Can't get hold of sw to sort out dd's friday contact either!

Surfermummystomb · 25/10/2006 12:48

Morning all. Mission accomplished today. Have also dusted and cleaned both fireplaces . Why is it that once everything starts looking uncluttered and clean, you notice other places that aren't even more?

I am finding that baby steps is the way to go. Every day I'm clearing just a little bit of clutter and the house is being transformed. I've been emptying an old handbag that I no longer use but is full of "stuff" one piece a day! It's the sort of job I look at and think "that needs doing" ...... "but I don't have time now" and it never gets done.

damewashalot · 25/10/2006 12:50

I did something! Collected all of the piles of clothes from around the house and put them away, also took things out of boys drawers that don't fit Well it's a start.
Swish and swipe and sink could almost be called habits now too everywhere else still a mess but I'm working on it

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 12:57

Ive done nothing yet! Must do something before the end of the day!!

batinshoes · 25/10/2006 13:13

Hi All.

DD decided she doesnt need a nap again today so I think she is really dropping them for good

My baby is due mid-December - I have 7 weeks to go in theory but DD was a bit early so who knows.

No more FLYing done but we have had lunch and I've cleared up.

Just found out that my solicitor is on holiday this week and someone else was there yesterday for me! And will be doing the 3 days next week. Im annoyed that my solicitor didn't tell me he was away. I don't want someone else doing it!
Basically yesterday they confirmed the 3 day hearing and have added a 4th day on the following thursday.Grrrr!

bigfatbump · 25/10/2006 13:24

I also have a cleaner who will be blessing my house today for 3 hours, just need to get the clutter off the shelves now. Off out to get some lunch now.

tortUREoisechamber · 25/10/2006 13:55

of those with cleaners!

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 25/10/2006 14:35

Afternoon everyone. I read yesterdays thread to catch up on whats going on and then come to this 1 and there been a lot of talking its like reading a book! lol I was so tired last night. DS1 must have been aswell as he did not wakeup until 8:20! he had nearly 13hrs sleep DD woke me up at 7:30 then Ds2 came in bed with us too. so I had a good sleep last night, I was asleep before 10 and I only woke up a few times for DD or myself.

Yesterday was a great day, The zoo is good tortoise, DC really enjoyed it. I have been there before and I enjoyed it then, my enjoyment yesterday from the zoo was seeing and taking part in the DC enjoyment of it. Its very smelly though, that is what puts me off zoos etc.
Tortoise and Susi,It is hard with 3DC. It is all the bits you have to take was the hardest bit. Nappy bag etc. The DC were very good. Both DSs stayed next to me and there was no running off or wants strops or anything like that so that makes it all much easier. I think now thats why yesterday was so good.
Sorry to read about your solicitor tortoise, He should have told you that he was not going to able to be there. etc, even more so after he told you that you did not have to go! You must have thought he would be there for you. I would feel p*ed off, angry, and let down if it was me.
FLYing today has gone very well. I have done all the normal bits, and I have also done the DSs bedroom. Mine is ok , so I have used theirs as the master bedroom and have but the last 3days missions into their room well as much as you can My biggest clutter is cloths, DC have so many. I need to have a good sort out and get rid of loads. I just don't like to see them go though I bet I could get rid of and black bag full for each DC and still have 2 bags full for each. DD would have more I think. I could have my own jumble sale stall and just have their cloths on it!!

As I have not read back on today thread, I will say well done to those who have done some FLYing and a kick up the bum for those who have not lol

I am going to peel the spuds ready for tea, I hate peeling spuds You can get washed spuds, why cant you get ready peeled ones lol
