Morning to you all

batinshoes · 23/10/2006 07:18

Our bedroom is a disaster as I've been FLYing a bit too literally and so havent touched it since last time aorund

Glad its an easy mission. Hopefully it will get me motivated.

Have a good day all.

ludaloo · 23/10/2006 07:43

Might be a good chance to sort all our clothes out too...ds and dd2 share our drawer space...needs sorting and making sure all their clothes are the right size....WE NEED MORE SPACEEEEEEE!!!!!

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/10/2006 07:50

There is no clutter in my bedroom!

All I need to do in there is sort out the wardrobe and the cupboard and my chest of drawers.

I need to change our bedding

After that, its all done! Should be an easy week if I can keep on top of all the usual stuff!!!

ludaloo · 23/10/2006 08:00

Does anyone vaccum the matress?? I keep meaning to do this after watching "Life Crime Investigations" the other night....eewwww the things we have living in our beds!!!!!
Might flip the mattress and vaccum it too while we are on the bedroom.

Flamebat · 23/10/2006 08:50

Sink shiney

(Told you all on the other thread but was snubbed and neglected )

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/10/2006 08:50

Im going to do it too - and when i get around to it, I am going to sprinkle bicarb on the matress and leave for a good few hours and then vaccum it off so it odourises the matress too - will feel like im sleeping on a really clean mattress then!

ludaloo · 23/10/2006 09:13

damewashalot · 23/10/2006 09:49

Got boys at home this week and dh from wed as he finnishes work tomorrow and doesn't start new job til 6th nov so hope to get him sorting stuff and getting some jobs done will see if I can get the boys helping they like the timer!

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 23/10/2006 09:49

grrr, just typed big message and the computer ate it...

Oh well...

The whole house is in a bit of a state after a busy weekend, and the master bedroom is indeed a dumping ground instead of the relaxing haven it should be, so will have a busy day I think...

Half term here too, so will have to juggle FLYing with entertaining a 7 and a 3 year old...

Will try the bicarb on the mattress Jarm, thanks for that tip!!

20 mins done in bedroom.Few bits removed that don't belong and a big basket sorted into who's is who's and piled on my bed. Will put them away in a bit.DD's wanted me to come downstairs.

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 23/10/2006 11:05

Have done NOTHING!

Well actually i have been to Brantano to get Jess some wellies but other than that, i have done zilcho!

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 23/10/2006 11:11

Right, I am in need of a large boot up the bedside...

DC still in pj's, I am in joggiebums and old t-shirt, not done anything except washing up, put on 1 load of laundry and spent 10 minutes decluttering bedroom....

Now having late breakfast...

Just can't really get motivated today, just want to go back to bed....

peegeeweegeeWITCH · 23/10/2006 11:13

errr, that would be backside not bedside...

am bed-obsessed today

TortUREoiseChamber · 23/10/2006 11:15

Lol @ joggiebums!
Main thing is that you have done a bit.Its only 15mins a day de-cluttering isn't it? The bedroom doesn't have to be 100% de-cluttered in a week.
Just do a little at a time.
1st step could be dressing dc!
