oh, too many posts to read, too little time! 2nd coat on the walls, DH managed to break the light, but its now fixed. Just waiting for that to dry, then Ill gloss... then, possibly get flooring done

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 15/10/2006 20:40

Yes it is Jas and batinshoes.
Did you get that from the link? Because I dont get that.

My DD still has an hr or so sleep in the day. Today it was on the sofa.

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 20:42

HN Link does go to roboreptile thing!

jasnDISMemBERED · 15/10/2006 20:42

He can (and does) do it himself....but only after he's told me he's doing it He can't just see something needs doing and do it.

I cry easily at the moment (I'm blaming sleep deprivation) too.

Who's new?????? (Too lazy to scrool down and hunt)

Surfermum · 15/10/2006 20:43

Thanks for the home blessing link. I'm loving this more and more . My kitchen is looking amazing now and it's so much easier to keep things tidy now I'm on top of things.

jasnDISMemBERED · 15/10/2006 20:43

DD1 was still having a day time nap at 4!

DD2 didn't though...I had to stop her as she would sleep too long and be up all night.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 15/10/2006 20:47

It must be just my end then, I keep trying the link and all I get is the "can not fond product page" least it works

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 15/10/2006 20:52

Susi and Q you have been busy. Well done to you both. I feel that I have been lazy over the weekend now.

Surfermum.. well done to you too. Hope you really get to like FLYlady and become 1 of us FLYbabies

Surfermum · 15/10/2006 20:54

I have never felt so motivated about doing the housework. I normally find it so mind-numbingly dull. I love this "set the timer for 10 minutes" stuff!

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 20:58

I think i need something to give a boost back into FLYing! I know i have a lot to do this week before party. Invited 12 kids for a 3 hour party in my house(bigger )!!
It has to be clear and tidy!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:02

DS has just gone to sleep... cor, he was a bugger tonight!

Dinner is nearly ready bang went our Sunday "Lunch"!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:03

Tort - you and me both. my FLYing is... waning.

sahmtotwo · 15/10/2006 21:07

Tort and Q don't worry about it. Sometimes it seems to go like that. Just doing the basics will keep things ticking along untill you are both feeling up to Flying full scale again.

I've done no flying at all this weekend just the basics and none at all will get done next weekend as DH and I are going away for a weekend of fun and frolics without the DS's. Wahaaaay!!!

batinshoes · 15/10/2006 21:08

FLYing is getting harder the more tired I am getting but perhaps we should set a seperate challenge for ourselves this week? We can do the missions each day but maybe 1 challenge for us all to have a go at - something that is classed as housework but that is fun too. any ideas?

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:12

Sounds good, bat! An extra mission you mean? What zone starts tomorrow?

batinshoes · 15/10/2006 21:16

Tomorrow we have 'bathroom and 1 extra room' which I guess could be spare room, kids bedrooms, study, play room, etc

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:26

hmmm... no ideas for fun missions... unless we do things in the run up to Christmas? Or maybe we should do that starting mid. Nov?

batinshoes · 15/10/2006 21:29

hmmm.

maybe sort through old photos and do a collage of the kiddies?

or, start listing on ebay and make some £, or get rid of stuff on freecycle - releasing clutter and sending things to good home at same time...

or, you all come up with an idea for a 33 weeks pregnant lady to wear for a fancy dress party in 2 weeks. I HATE fancy dress....

and, agree lets have a christmas task in november though - could be fun

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 21:31

Oooh sounds good. I have masses to list on Ebay but im feeling more and more guilty about sitting here while DD's are here and i get no proper time without them now.
My zone next week is the whole house!!

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 21:33

Bat I need ideas on how to loose inches off the arms within a week so my halloween costume fits for DS2's party! It ok apart from the arms.

You just need a long black skirt and top and a pair of stripy tights, wig and hat then you will be a witch!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:33

oooooooooo, fancy dress! Go as a sumo

Whats the theme?

Collage? Not many photos as DS is only 6 months

I freecycled a cream leather sofa and armchair - not sure I have much else!

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:34

Who all needs to lose weight? Maybe we should do weight loss aswell! (not pregnant ones, your allowed!)

batinshoes · 15/10/2006 21:36

lol. it is halloween fancy dress. I thought pumpkin but then realised i have to go for 1 hour on train to get there so preferably something i can put in a bag and put on when i get there

may have to be a witch.

tort - is it your outfit? If so cut vertical slits in the arms and so a contrast patch underneath which will add a bit more material

QueenQuootieSpookypieBee · 15/10/2006 21:39

Halloween... oh. A sumo?

TortUREoiseChamber · 15/10/2006 21:46

Yes its my outfit! That might be a good idea if
A,i can find some material
B,i can sew it!!

I think witch is your best option.
Im temped to not wear mine. Actually i think i need FLYer opinions on how it looks before the party!
