Guess i will work on the lounge and kitchen again..... when are we zoning upstairs - thats my downfall at the moment!!

Morning all.

I did Kelly's mission on Monday

DD up at 6.20 hence my kitchen is clean, dishwasher emptied, washing machine on and breakfast in process of being eaten.

Eew at mice droppings. Good luck catching them [hmmm]

Plan for today is to clear the bottom of the stairs and attack the understairs cupboard

ah bugger..... really need to tackle upstairs!!! Maybe i will just do a 15 min fling to help it along and then really worry when the time comes!!

oooh, I really really need to tackle my understairs cupboard (it opens into dining room)..... but have people coming roundfor coffee this morning - do you think they would be willing to help??

Oh and bro and SIL coming over after lunch so will get naff all done this afternoon - think we plan on taking the girls to soft play centre - if i can be bothered!

It doesn't mean you aren't allowed to do upstairs before that though!

Upstairs is my worst (it was the dining room but a month of flying has got it under control) but I keep putting it off

I'm going to clear the kitchen and put on washing before school.

It just needs an ickle tidy up as our dining room masquerades as the kids play room. WE dine in our kitchen as it is big enough.

pheewww took me aaaages to catch up with you

had a rather adventurous time.
only if you are without power you know how much you need it!!! power went yday 9pm (luckily i was on my way to bed already - equiped with a torch lol) - apparently it should come back on within the next few hours. yeah right, next morning 6am - usual wake up call - still no electricity!!!! now deal with 2 hyper hungry kids in the dark!!!!! (it was still pitch black then) - luckily we have a gashob so i could at least warm their milk - and then we sat in the dark with torches in the freezing conservatory! did call them again and they told me it was back up again?!?!?!?!? ashley came home 20min later and checked the box (which i did several times!!!!!) well, he obviously found the reason, fiddled around and woheyyyyy - we are back amongst the living again!

so i am a bit behind now with everything. but then there was light
will tackle the kitchen in a minute.
and guess kellys mission for me is my pc desk (it's in the dining room!)
and that's deffinitily a hot burning hot spot!!

Been out most of the last two days... really will FLY today.

DH saw me cleaning the sink last night with a product called "Shiney sinks"... his comment was "Now I AM scared!"

flame - i love shiny sinks - it's great!

have cleaned kitchen bin as it was really stinky but other than d/w, washing & shiny sink that's me done.

off out in a bit for a swim with dh while dd goes into creche

About to tackle kitchen.... it needs a good sort out.

Any bright ideas how to clean a cot mattress???

not done anything yet today. took DD to doctor and she's now home watching tv. DS had been screaming while DP looked after him and was instantly happy as soon as i held him. i think he's turning into a clingy baby.

Morning
Have just spent £95 at the vet on a perfectly well cat! Vaccination boosters, anti-flea injection and superduper fleaspray. DD has got some bites again so I have got to step up the hoovering.
DH has the day off so this afternoon he'll be working on the landing walls he just stripped and I'll be taking DS to the posh shoeshop to get his comedy clown feet measured again (think his H widths are getting wider).
I don't think I can really do any hotspots until I've done some proper filing - otherwise it will all just get dumped in my office and become a hotspot volcano. So I may have to bypass Flylady this week as I have a kitchen diner anyway. Anyone else want to get their holepunches out and have a fileathon with me?

I have so far....

Cleaned porch windows/pvc work
Cleaned pvc front door - inside and out
Cleaned pvc back door inside and out
Swept kitchen floor
Put rubbish out (DH will be impressed - i NEVER do the bins!)
Wiped down all surfaces
Wiped over all appliances in kitchen - oven needs more work though
Wiped over kitchen cupboard doors
Coats and shoes in their proper places

Just need to.....

Clean oven - it is minging
Clean inside of microwave
Wash kitchen floor
Hot spot in lounge
Filing

Hoover living room

Just over a week into this and yesterday I managed my first Mission!!! Very pleased with shiny front door but no-one has noticed yet

Sink still shiny and hall tidy though needs a bit more cleaning. Only have half a dining room and DH working in there as DS about to be put down for nap and his cot is currently in office! Messes up FLYing no end, please send plaster-drying vibes this way so we can finish off garage-extension/office and I can evict DH

Tribpot - hope sicky things have all gone away.

Off to read The Gruffulo to DD then decide which of numerous Hotspots to tackle!
