Yup
I'm amazed that I found the kids b edroom floor under all the c**p in15 mins!
Going to go cuddle my baby and have a cup of tea bwefore schoolrun/rainbows/brownies mayhem (on days like today a car would be handy)

You need that gold star tortiose - well done.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 14:02

Aww thanks for the gold star!!
My head hurts now.Im sooo tired right now.

jasnDISMemBERED · 04/10/2006 14:35

Here it is...

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 14:47

Ive picked a few things up but have hit the normal brick wall that is too much stuff no space!2 dolls buggies and a big dolls pram! And a rocking horse that i don't want anymore! And my back carrier that im trying to sell on MN but no joy yet! The dining table is far too big although folds small but never gets used!

batinshoes · 04/10/2006 14:50

Tort, If you just want rid and arent worried about getting £ for things then put them on freecycle. People will take anything if it's free

Flamebat · 04/10/2006 14:50

I quit.

My sink is shiney.

I do sod all else because my children are constantly ill and crying and whinging.

I am wiped out because of the ill/crying/whinging.

What's the point??? All this has done so far is get me a tidy lounge and 100x more stress when it gets messy.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 14:52

Awwww Flame don't quit. You don't have to do loads. My sinks not even shiney! Im still living in a pit but without FLYers support i would get even less done!

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 14:53

Might stick the horse on there! But no way am i giving away my lovely back carrier!

batinshoes · 04/10/2006 14:53

Flame - not much point when the kids are ill. Take a break and revisit the whole thing when they're better. Try and keep the sink shiny and the kitchen worktops clear then at least you'll feel like you're doing something.

Hope the kiddies feel better soon (((hugs)))

OP posts:
TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 14:55

Oh and sorry your dc are ill hope ok soon.Mine are very whingey without being ill!!

Flamebat · 04/10/2006 16:53

If I take a break while they are ill then we'll be in this mess til April

Feeling a bit better... still not done anything htough

QuootieSpookypie · 04/10/2006 16:56

oops!
here!

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 04/10/2006 19:07

Flame don't worry about tidiness, just be chuffed with any cleaning you get done. My aim (which may sound pretty pathetic to some but will be a bigger achievement than my degree!) is simply to get everything in the house cleaned once by Christmas.
Have been doing all sorts of displacement cleaning to avoid tidying and decluttering so I'm kind of p*ing on Flylady's idea of habit-formation. Today I hoovered and defleaed DD's room, pushing toys and furniture around as I went, not actually tidying.
I also cleaned the downstairs loo and front room windows outside.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 04/10/2006 19:09

Hi everyone. What a day!!
Sorry about your day tortoise The day started ok for me. DC were all ok. I was wondering lastnight if DS1 was coming down with something. But he fine. I done the school run and got back and I was going to get on with things today.
I had a bad mark on my door frame, so I thought "i know I will paint over it. I got the paint out. (a little bit left) and painted over the mark. Well it stood out a mile. Very white.

So I thought I would go into bath and get some more. 3 buses later I was at the DIY store. Got the paint and looked around before it was time to come home. 2 buses were ok. They got me out of bath. The 3rd 1 came then a mile or so out of bath and it broke down.I only had 1 hr to get home before I would have to leave for school. No bus came in 1/2 hr so I was going to be late for school. I had to get a taxi. I got home just in time to leave to get DSs from school.

So I have not done any FLYing, and 2 cans of paint has cost me loads of money. and all because I did not like the mark on my door where the paint had come off

Dc to bed soon then its going to be a nice long hot bath I think.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 04/10/2006 20:12

I am trying to watch "How Clean Is Your House" Its making me feel bad How can people live like that!?
It would be cleaner to live outside!

batinshoes · 04/10/2006 20:12

Hauntedhazel. what an afternoon!!!!
Bucket - been there done that with the clutter displacement. Just remember babysteps

I've just had a lovely bath while DH puts DD to bed which was a nice surprise. Not doing anything but watching tv tonight though.

Hope everyone feels a bit better tomorrow.

OP posts:
theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 04/10/2006 20:24

Yes and just for 2 cans of paint.

Only 2 more days until the weekend

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 20:29

Wow bad day HN! Will you get to use the paint tomorrow??

I have just sorted some parcels to send from bits sold on Ebay about a week ago.!
Head still hurts but know why now!AF!

How clean is your house was foul! How can people live like that? Its not just messy its dirty.

theHAUNTEDhazelnut · 04/10/2006 20:40

I hope to tortoise.
Hope your headache is ok soon.
It made me feel sick with all the dirt everywhere,

How can people like to live with all that. they must have something wrong with them!!!

squatchette · 04/10/2006 20:47

Hi everyone,
Big hugs to tortoise don't give up hope yet i thought i was going to loose my girls in a custody battle and won by a mile .I don't know the background how old are all your kids btw do they get to say who they reside with?(as in old enough to).I know the worry is sickening and truly feel for you.
There's nothing worse to get your back up than having your parenting abilities scrutinised and judged by relative strangers or in my case a lying xp.If they fight dirty then you fight back filthy i say.
Flamebat don't give up one of mine is poorly most of the time (tracheostomy tubefed diarohea sp? constantly so if i can get there anyone can.
I've said a thousand times what's the point i can't get anything done when she takes up so much time but i'm now 6 months in to flying and it's just starting to get off the ground. And i was never very organised to start with.Just do the babysteps for now keep reading the e-mails and you'll become flywashed .
Oh look at me rambling on again sorry folks just hate to see people down when i've been there.

Bucketsofbloodydinosaurs · 04/10/2006 20:51

Hey Tortoise we are in sync! I was due on Saturday but have had PMT (or PregnancyMaybeTerror) ever since. Actually took a test yesterday and finally came on this morning. Hurray for Aunt Flo!
