squatchette My ds's are 9 and nearly 7.Basic story is that xp2 was phisically and emotionally abusive to 9 yr old and ss took them to live with their dad(xp1).I had to get court to get xp2 out of the house. Boys went in july last year xp2 was moved out in Nov.
Because i failed to protect ds1 from xp2(complicated,feel crap about it)sw sees it that i may let xp2 move back in(Yeah right!!!) sp has recommended to court that xp1 gets residency.
They want to come home.
Final hearing 30th,31st Oct and 1st nov.
Hope that all makes sence!!
Glad you got your girls.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 20:55

sw not sp!

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 20:56

lol Bucket! I didn't know it was due! I have Mirena coil thingy so don't get much if anything so never know its coming!

batinshoes · 04/10/2006 21:00

Did anyone watch you are what you eat? Cant believe the transformation!!!!

Tort - sounds really tough but it must be a good thing that your boys want to be with you. I hope that counts for something in the process.

Yes i watched bits of it.Much improvement!

SW obv didn't listen to ds's! They cry to me cos they want to come home.Hope she's the one who has to tell them if they can't.
Alot is done to the CAFCASS officer/childrens guardian now cos xp1 will say he wants them just because thats the 'right' thing to say! He doesn't want them full time.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 21:04

down not done.Sorry crap typing tonight!!

squatchette · 04/10/2006 21:08

tortoise, have you tried taking out an injunction against xp2 this backs up that you wont be moving him back in even if you think he's no threat to you it shows you're thinking along their lines of what if...and protecting son in advance say he's made threats if you must.
I believe there's only one good reason to lie as nothing comes before our kids even honesty so you compromise your integrity because you know in your heart that it's the only way to do what's right in the long term.
I expect the SS are saying he's settled where he is now too so just discuss all options with your solicitor and of course there's your sons wishes at the crux of it all, keep us all posted too.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 21:22

There is an Occupation Order(i think thats what it is) in place which prevents him coming into the property.
Already had some one contact sw to say its common knowledge that we are still together(down side of small gossipy town)when we are most definatly not.I have no contact with him outside of contact he has with our dd's.
I will of course keep you all informed, may need alot of support those 3 days and after if all goes wrong.
I have no-one else apart from 1 friend.Family moved to Turkey a year ago.

SusiSkelletonInTheCloset · 04/10/2006 21:29

turtle () well done for making that phone call! and squashy might be right: let's hope they actually listen to your ds's (since they are really old enough) - they can't blame you for things that happened long ago and you really do regret!! keep it up

flame: know what you mean. almost every day i say to dp 'why on earth do i bother???? - i clean/tidy up and 5 min later it looks even worse' - but slowly it does make a difference. and if it's only me who sees it
babysteps ...

not done much today. dropped ds off at nursery and had a (shopping) walk through town. dropped books at library. dd got lots of attention for once! - and dp let me have a long hot shower

but all these little things that slowly but surely make your routine help alot already! after dinner i automatically put everything away and dishes into the d/w

Haunted H,that sort of stuff happens to me all the time don't know if you read my post early hrs of this morning about leaving my cash card in a shop and it leading to a string of crappy things i could've done without.
I have flyed like never before today done all of downstairs including wiping down all paintwork ,window cleaning pulling out all the furniture,Cleaned every single thing in the rooms even the walls.
I even started my bills/important stuff filing.House smells amazing tried that zoflora stuff quite impressed.I also did the bathroom but thats easy since i started swish n swiping .Am soo tired now going to put washing away in morning .I can't believe how much i've done it's my best day yet .My hands look terrible though cleaning products give me eczema but rubber gloves give me a reaction within 5 minutes even the none latex kind.Oh well i've got some hydrocortisone cream and it's just about worth it for the sense of accomplishment after a rubbish 2 days.Let's hope i can keep it up..DD1 just dropped asleep on my knee yey!...best put her up to bed see you all laters

I finally got round to cleaning out the hamster cage today (been very slack lately)only to discover I have no sawdust left for him. Poor thing will have to cope with just newspaper tonight, and I'll be going to the pet shop in the morning.

My feet are killing me. Walk to school, then 20 mins to rainbows, home, speedy tea for dd1, back out to brownies and home again with dd2.dd1 gets a lift home, but I decided to take a "short cut" the last trip, and the 20 min walktook us 45

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 22:08

Well the thought was there jas!!
That reminds i need to do the rabbit/guinea hutch! And i need sawdust too!

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 22:10

squatchette · 04/10/2006 22:20

I used to have a guinea pig until its hutch mate the rabbit tried to mate with it .It didn't give up easily unfortunately for the guinea pig.....Don't worry animal lovers it was o.k in the end after a trip to the vet infact i think the rabbit had to go as well soon after not clear on details i was only about 8 or 9.

TortUREoiseChamber · 04/10/2006 22:23

LOL!

Well thats the dishwasher/kitchen done.
Took a bit longer than i thought it would because i hadn't emptied it this morning.

jasnDISMemBERED · 04/10/2006 22:31
