FRIDAY Flying: a quick hoover out of the living room

today is grocery shopping day for me. got a list ready. just need to clean out the fridge which should take 2 minutes, sounds like a job to do while the kettle's boiling

I'd like to know what that effin fly woman does when she's got twelve church flower arrangements to be done.

I decluttered under the stairs yesterday and filled 2 bin bags full of crap

I'm hoovering every day at the moment, as ds is just starting to crawl, so todays mission is easy.

I got up and made cakes for the Macmillan coffee morning

Morning all. Full of cold today so willt ake it easy. Plan to clean the living room carpets this weekend so will do the hoovering then. Will try and clear the hotspot on my stairs though!

guess the broken nights and very early mornings are getting to me now.
i am dead tired and can't get myself to do anything! i even tried to put my head down with both kids running around amoc - if you knew me i never (!) sleep during the day!!

'sigh' oh well, guess i'll have to get through this day somehow! dp came home earlier and greeted me like nothing happened - fine with me.

i'll try and do one hotspot (of my 100s) at least

I'm off to sit in a draughty church hall for 90 mins so i will have to hoover later.

Not got as much to do today after yesterday, but at least i am up showered and dressed today!

Dishwasher emptied and loaded again.... and thats about it done so far!

Need to tidy and clean surfaces in kitchen
Hoover stairs and upstairs
Clear shelves in living room of crap
1 load of washing, and drying
Fill car with petrol
Buy milk
Decide which takeaway for tonight (its payday lol)

i dont own a hoover!! have lamanate floor [does sweep it and polish it count?]

Oh I have lost it this week , house seems to look messier than ever (although at least I know a few bits are cleaner than ever.) Thing is I actually quite enjoy the cleaning just not the tidying and you can't do one until you've done the other. I find the tidying just wears me out and depresses me - could I pay a cleaner to tidy my house (and hoover) and I'll follow her around cleaning?
And I have no excuse. Sigh

Im so pissed off with myself this morning. I have spent about an hour cleaning around the kitchen,emptying the d/w and loading it. I could of had a good go at the front room if i had got off my lazy butt last night and done the kitchen like suppose to!!

Its pissing down and i have to walk the girls about a mile up a big hill at 1pm to take them to their Dad! SS decided it was best for me to walk them up!Then i have to pick the boys up from school later!

Least I remembered to put the recycling out!!

I really cant get going either. Done the dishwasher, and a load of washing but DD has just weed on the sofa and I feel rubbish. I've put her in front of DVD again so feeling like terrible parent on top of inadequate housewife.

I am going to be flying so hard today I may well take off!!

Going away for the weekend this afternoon and because I am a SHE I still have washing, ironing and packing to do for it and want the house done top to bottom for us coming back to.

Clean bathroom
Tidy DDs Bedroom
Tidy our bedroom
Tidy DSs bedroom

Straight after I finish this cuppa.....

ok, i was humbled by Becca so i have :

Living room :
tidied DVDS and computer games
cleaned computer desk

DD Room :
picked up all toys & books and put back where they belong

Not loads but a start

yep, cuppa sounds good - having one myself right now

i can't motivate myself neither

at least i've done the dw so the dirty dishes are all put away!
doesn't help that dd is a right pain with overly clingy and ds is bored stiff with stuck indoors so wants lots of attention too.

Can someone keep ordering me to go and do another 15 mins throughout the day please?

i have hardly moved..... i need to do stuff but cant be bothered!! Kids are both in bed and have been for the last 1.5hrs and i havent done anything!!!

Have moved the sofa, hoovered and scrubbed behind it, salted the holes in the floorboards to repel slugs and am feeling much better actually. It's all about letting guilt isn't it? Is that what it's like being Catholic? Like you've not done your homework all the time?

Have come to 2 conclusions about my lounge:

1. previous owners did a crap job at doing the floorboards and we will need to get it sanded, varnished and gaps sealed properly one day.
2. Definitely not getting a real Christmas tree, have just spent ages picking prev owners' needles out of the floorboard gaps.

Tinshoes are you pottytraining or recently trained (your DD I mean)? I used to put an old playmat on the sofa before DD was allowed to sit on it. When she weed on that I'd sit her on an old towel folded up while I washed the mat. She also watches far too much telly.
