oops

everything goes at 1400

thought that was why my washing mc was so fecking expensive - like not using 5th gear in the car

tassis · 22/06/2006 20:12

My mum does this - puts everything on for a short spin and then extracts stuff like shirts etc and gives everything else a long spin

didn't think anyone else in the world bothered!

JoolsToo · 22/06/2006 20:12

ps yes i also [put dishwasher on every evening irreespective of load size. well, if i can't put my fecking irrigation system on "PONCE" then might as well fritter water away washing 2 plates and a fork

UberCodofWashingFame · 22/06/2006 20:37

lol at you FB

FrayedKnot · 22/06/2006 20:39

Never occured to me. thought it was just one of those useless "features" that I didn;t ask for.

So, I need to spin some things less vigorously?

The thing is I just do lights or darks, I don;t sort towels & stuff out, usually.

Anotehr GH crime, no doubt.

Feistybird · 22/06/2006 20:39

am just jealous actually - have the oldest spinner in town - my washer is 20 years old and has never let me down once, so refuse to change it (as soon as I upgraded my dishwasher it went t*ts up).

Alas, there is no selection for spin cycles.

UberCodofWashingFame · 22/06/2006 20:41

I don't change the spin but do use different programmes which have different spins (determined by the machine). I trust the machine to make the right decision (as it cost enough).

If I am feeling contrary, sometimes the machine spins at quite a low speed because of the programme I have used, and then I stick it on a fast spin only because I need to wear it that night.

alittlebitshy · 22/06/2006 20:58

I change the spin on mine. At the very least I stand there looking at the spin options and think about changing it, then decide to leave it. lol.

i change it down more often than i change it up, iyswim.

just got a new washing machine yesterday and am shocked cos on my last one (ariston) i could alter temp as well, but on this one (bosch) i can't. used to do towels on 50 degrees but there is no 50 on this .

UberCodofWashingFame · 22/06/2006 21:33
